I think the possibility to buy back your XP is a great idea...so you can kinda choose your death penalty, like, do you want to pay with XP or money~
I don't care about XP loss at all (especially since you can get them back really fast by just doing quests), but I really hated paying for deaths with gold like in WoW :/ (indirectly tho, but still...) But I'm so glad to hear you can't downlvl, I was so afraid of that Xx |

Thank you so much for sharing your impressions. I'm worried that a death penalty that eliminates XP will be a game killer in the U.S.A. I know with that in place it will be impossible to persuade my guildmates to get the game. A debuff like in WAR would be a better way to go for this market, which has been trending towards lighter death penalties as it is. A debuff that can be worked off through successful combat, similar to Guild Wars would be even better. If this is not changed NC Soft will have yet another MMO failure in North America.

I think that they aren't looking about this issue here and perhaps loss XP from death penalty doesn't change more until release.
I liked suggestion from TaKK and could be as in Warhammer, a simple debuff. |

Yeah I know what you mean, but I don't share it. War was never fair, I prefer freedom and politics over stablished fights, and I do feel accomplished if I beat a zerg with less numbers. In Warhammer online I got a lot of 500-0s thanks to having an organized group in scenarios, and Im sure we would have beat them even if they were more.

thank you lord devil. that was the best review ive read so far. It was very detailed and covered areas i was interested in. I also hope it takes a while to get to the max level, since i want to enjoy the journey to that height more. Also, and i dont think you or anyone but the devs have an answer to this, but what lies ahead for those that do achieve the highest level? I do hope there are things that can still be explored later on
