If NCSoft didn't see how overpowered mages are or how underpowered summoners are when it comes to flying or how buffs become nonfactor at higher levels when they were testing the game for a few months, what makes you think that they will fix anything? These very obvious flaws could be fixed at the time of closed betas, I'm not even talking about OBT.

They see it, they know it is an issue. Devs said themselves these things were addressed and under care.
The problem is that they released the game earlier (because of financial reasons) than it supposed to be. It is a sad fact.
They ddnt finish to solve most of these issues and quite a lot of things were left out from the game by launch. They are aware of this, we can only hope they will change things soon.

Im almost level 30 and Ive been slacking a lot, Im not missing quests, 22-25 was lacking tho, 25+ isn't, I level around 80% with quests and then I do some group grind and new quests open. Bots aren't an issue tbh, haven't see one yet and it's up to them, I level fastly without it. Bots would mean free abyss points.

My server is balanced, 8% elyos, 76% balaur and 16% asmos. I doubt there is 99% in any server at this stage considering how hard the middle layer siege is. First castle was conquered like 2 days ago? It takes time for the guards to spawn making the castle siegeable, I know I've visited the 2 castles asmos have in the server n13 and there wasn't any guard.

The balance? Honestly, mages can't take me down on my level range.

Seriously, it's like if they were playing a different game, so surprised seeing this things considering I'm meant to be the one who can't access to the content due to language barriers.

During closed beta, they were still making Aion, people. Now, Aion is complete. Here comes the stream of polish work, then updates. That's how MMO's work.

There is NOTHING, to worry about folks.

meh I'm not worried about most of it cause by the time we get the game most of it "should" be fixed..although the bots do worry me. I hope NCWest steps up and doesn't drop the ball on this one.

Yeah, those are strong words and quite exaggerated. Still the addressed issues are there even if they are not really that big. Nothing they couldn't fix in matter of time and with proper attention.

Like I said, there are exceptions. Not every server has a balanced population. I read posts where someone said there are more elyos than mobs. But if your server has unbalanced population, you will find yourself in a situation where u can't go to better areas because there's too many elyos there or something. You'll have to give up quests that involve going into abyss. Just because you were placed in good conditions doesn't mean everyone is going to have that.

When 70% of the posts on a game's forum talks about problems, then it means that game has problems. You are like Paris Hilton going why are all those middle class people QQing about oil prices.

Really? mages can't take you down? what game have you been playing? Are you sure you are not still camping in lvl 1 area?

To those with negative attitude towards me,
I just made this post so that people can see whats really going on. Beyond what NCsoft is advertising and what those translated Dev interviews are telling you. If you just wanted to close your eyes and pretend like this game was gonna be Jesus coming to save you or something, then I am sorry I broke your dreams, but this is what I see in Korean forums and this is how it is. Oh oh my god you never played these classes how u know! Wow I just said I was just reading off korean forums. I am just letting you see what those people are are now paying 15 bucks a month to play the RETAIL AION are saying. I am not pulling this out of my ***.

NCsoft recently posted an article in a korean newsite that they were suing bot companies or something. Yet, those players go into the game and find 50% of the characters around them are bots. This is how it was in Lineage 2! NCsoft isn't gonna ban bots. Oh you lies! I haven't seen any bots. OH I AM SORRY the sky isn't blue every time.

I am not doing this so everybody gets turned off and leaves. I really looked forward to this game, and I just hope that if NA people learn and react to whats going on, maybe they'll stop turning in Aion into another l2. SO FACE THE REALITY react and voice your opinions. If you just sit there going oh they'll fix everything will be fine, nothing is going to happen. Blizzard runs a dev team that are sensitive to players' needs. If there's something wrong about a class, they'll listen and respond. Can anybody here name a single class that doesn't have a role in parties in WoW?

NCsoft didn't mean Aion to be another Korean hardcore pleaser. They did mean this game to go international. They meant this game to compete with WoW. They even advertised this game in Europe. I am just saying if they really meant for that to happen, THEY NEED TO FIX THESE THINGS.

As a person planning going sorcerer I am most disappointed in how the physical defense has been handled for balancing. To compensate for the low physical defense I believe they should up our attack power and eliminate all casting times, creating instant cast for all spells. *grin*

I don't know about the measures in order to balance population, would like to read details about that, but my server is balanced, thus why I posted.

When a game has over 90% of retention rate after beta, means those problems aren't that bad.

Yeah I'm sure I'm in the abyss taking down mages, in fact, it's one of the easiest class for me, the rest just fly away while nukers can be easily surprised.

It's always the same, those who enjoy the game, play, those who don't, go and whine in the forum, so obviously, you'll find a lot more of negativity in forums. There are issues, obviously, but you went too far with the negativity, I mean, people say some quests are useless, and you come with a "Lineage II clone" comparision...so yeah, you have to be kidding me.

I hate the bots as much as you might do, but this just isn't true. Anyone playing the Korean game in this forum will spot that you're making a mountain out of a sand grain. Bots are an issue, NCsoft being passive or not is something I don't know, in fact, I wouldn't be able to spot a bot unless I downloaded the software to recognize how it works (which I won't) Im just telling you that botting isn't necessary. I have my blue weapon, Green-blue armor set, as I said, almost level 30, and I'm slacking a lot, haven't played this weekend, if people bot, they should do it under a ban risk, that's for sure, but the risk doesn't make it up for the reward in this case.

Thanks for pointing this out, I couldnt imagine a mmorpg launch without any problems, so it doesnt surprise me much.
From your points the I only see the Bot issues as a big thread and that the pets of the summoner cant fly (which is prob not something easy to fix).
