/yuk at gameguard also, just too buggy and have seen little protection out of it. Maybe next time there is an interview, we need someone to talk about these problems, not about "Oh, how does the environment feel?" or "Tell me more about the lore (that we will learn about anyway)" so we can get some useful criticism going on. Action, not words, is what we need to see. But it's a bit too early for us to expect much from NCsoft West, is it not? __________________

where fixes and updates are concerned i can tell you from experience that you cant just fix one bug and release an update for that bug alone and do this for every one of them. you make fixes and updates once or twice every month and you post the changes made on the forum or site.
I'm not working at a software company that makes games, but i work at a software company that makes software applications in different branches. So the fact that there are complaints about the game now doesnt necessarily mean that in 1 month there will be no update. __________________ If life's a game, in death do you win or lose ?

Bloodgem i agree with you there,
but wouldn't you agree that your company that makes software have to actually make the customer believe you will fix the problem, or else you will loose the customer, and that isn't exactly the best way to do business. ncsoft on the other hand hasn't exactly given us any real comfort in this area yet. l 2 still full of bots. (and some laziness from their side where you can't use scandinavian letters) and no wasd.. just laziness.. Apart from that, giving use nice expansions for free. unlike wow who recently made people pay for crappy extra content that lasted 5days . on another note. ncwest should at least give us some news once in a while. Seriously atm it looks like people at this forum do more work then ncwest. At least people here translate news to us. while the homepage for us and eu is just dead with crappy story news once in a while. |

if you didnt notice that yet,nc west is perma banning masses of botters recently in lineage 2 servers in the past few weeks. the gms are going server by server and banning large numbers of bots. most ex l2 players dont know this coz we all quit lineage2 when it was still full of bots.
these gms are working for NC WEST, so be assured NC WEST will take care of this issue IF it is really an issue when its out in NA / EU. i am not concerned at all that nc west will f*** up the botters pretty well. besides...i doubt its really profitable to bot much in aion. thanks elliot for translating stuff for us. So what?He started a thread regarding todays complaints, what parts of the game have still problems... ""we knew that"", yeah, and this means the ones koreans are complaining about are still there. That is why he posted them - because the problem still exists.

im sorry to say but you do know like 10 ppl could be complain about the same bot RIGHT????? so you points are invalid. Just bc ppl are spamming bot post doesn't mean each one of them are talking about a different bot Quote:

This is bad news the reasons I want to get away from the game I am playing now are 1. It's to expensive to play and 2. There are so many gold botters it is hard to log on. This kind of news is frustrating to say the least I have been waiting patiently for a while now for Aions release and this could be the deciding factor in whether I play or not.

I guess I'm one of the few people that has never cared about bots while playing retail L2, and I've played for a long time. And no, I've never "botted" myself, I'm against those things, but what can I do except PKing them when I have the chance... it's rather funny actually, do a "bot hunting day". The only bad side I can see is ingame economy-wise, that's the real issue in my opinion.... |

anarcho - it is true that when a client submits a bug, glitch, etc. you tell them that their input has been taken into account and something will be done about it, but you dont promise anything like "it will be fixed in the next patch" some bugs are bigger then others, some require more attention then others and quite frankly some times you dont have the time do all of the submissions. But in the Aion case this applies to korean public only and i say this because the company i work at provides the larger market (this case the market of my country) with the news of bugs and fixes more than the smaller markets (foreign markets) which only get news that updates have been made. I say this so you can understand that Kr Aion management is obligated (in a way) to provide support and news of updates and such to the korean market only, not to us, the biggest news we can get about the kr version may be that "first update has been released" or smth like that, but nothing more, it is not their problem that we do not have detailed news, and why should they, we will have our own support team when the time comes.

, rendering summoners absolutely useless in abyss. They are also the least wanted in PvE parties anywhere.
