Well not 100% sure but I just read people using the term resist only when CC fails. At the end, its basically the samething isn't it? Spell not having the desired effect :P

Since the ranger skill speed was turned up, I think this patch might have fixed the "jumpshot" thing.

Hmm, I think its important to know how spell misses and resist work in Aion. To me, spell miss is a caster side stat where else resist is a target stat. It makes a difference because suppose there are equipments which have the relevant modifiers, then for spell to miss less/more depends on whether the caster has gears which improves spell accuracy. And for spells to be resisted more/less depends on whether the spell target has gears which improves on resistance to spells.
