I'd like to see what you are crafting and making money on. Scrolls, potions, stones, serums... what is it your making and selling to make your profit. I believe there are a ton of items we can make cash on and we should spread the word out there and help each other make a bit of Kinah, perhaps in those markets we didn't consider.

Lets keep the actual material cost and sales pricing out of this... but still... where are you making some profit?

Temporal Stones use to be my alch money maker, but the market is flooded now to the point it costs more to make than it sells for.
Oh well, it was never gonna last anyway lol

These forums are not flooded with Alchemy guys... there are some.. spread out over various servers.. and various skill levels.. time to craft.. etc..

I don't think this is a posting that will significantly alter supply and demand on any given server.

Life Potions are insane on Zikel. I sell out constantly. Mana Pots towards the beginning of the week. Wind Serums don't do well on the broker because of low pricing, but very well in the Abyss via private shop with some wind speed scrolls thrown in for fun.

Weapons seem to be more of a risk and don't sell very quickly. Although if your making your own it can be wise to calculate cost and sell the left overs as cheap as possible to get essentially a free blue.

It WAS Greater Wind Serums, they were going for 1k a pop and cost about 350 to make 'til some jackass started selling them for 450. Come the nyerk on, just leave it at 1k and people WILL buy them. Now it's damn near pointless to make them versus some other stuff I'm not mentioning because the same nyerk will probably start making those and charing just barely more than cost.

To EVERYONE - If EVERYONE is selling at 1k, don't undercut, sell at 1k, they'll ALL sell. If you start pulling ******** like charging 950 versus everyone's 1k then someone's gonna undercut that to 900, and pretty soon some nyerk puts it down to the actual cost, and someone undercuts him because they didn't do the math and now it's a loss to craft your cash cow.

Same **** happened with armor smithing, some of the level 23 greens go for less than 25% the actual COST of materials.

Yeah, temp stones on Spatalos are insane.

It's gonna change though when people get higher in level and realize that they are selling for the wrong price. On the other servers there are still normal prices, like 150K +.

My wife used that as money maker aswell, now she has to stick to all sorts of potions.

Exact same on my server. And of all the potions underselling on wind serums is just retarded. I think a lot of the problem is part-time alchemist getting rid of collected aether. I know a legion member was telling me she put wind serums up for 350 and they sold really fast. I explained to her before putting things on the broker you should check the cost of the crystals/herbs, add 100 for bottle/water and go from there. She tried again with a private shop in the Abyss and sold out at 800 each.

With how busy Zikel is the market is huge. Big enough that demand is ussually greater than supply. Therefore like you said if you sell them at 1k they will sell at 1k because people need them! In fact I am pretty certain you could sell stacks of 1k for 900k easily. That is of course if there is no one undercutting. Consider price fixing if you have the capital and there is not too many on the broker. I would do so but there is around 5 pages of Wind Serums up for undercost.

In my experience so far, the people who are undercutting are also the ones selling in small amounts (like stacks of 10-20), and clearly haven't done much crafting before. There's been numerous times when I've seen Life and Mana potions/serums selling for as low as 800 each when they sell like hotcakes for 1k-1.5k each. Just buy them all up and relist them at a decent price as a single stack of 100 along with your own crafted ones, and make more money off their ignorance

**** like this is what caused me to start working on alchemy. I didn't like paying someone 3x profit for my Greater Wind Serums. So now I'm at 399 and cranking a whole bunch of stuff for still absurd profits. Oh lawds. This has gotta be the best craft to put on a 2nd account to have running 24/7 though.

I've had ppl say that I'm selling my Greater Raging Wind/Running scrolls too low @ 3.5k a pop, because they "sell fast" at 5K. Sorry, but the damn things only cost 2K-2.5K to make (on my server/side at least). 50% profit for very little time spent at crafting station (scrolls are fast, unlike pots) seems too much to me already.

If you price your stuff outrageously, then more ppl make alchemists. Then you all lose. Why not just be happy with something that's already way too high? I've been using Alchemy to fund my Armorsmith expert tries, it seriously only takes an hour or two of crafting to make 1M profit from manastone converts - as long as you're patient and don't expect your 100's of manastones to sell immediately.

I actuall sell greater wind for 10k each instantly and great rag at 4k each. Sapphires are more rare than diamonds they all sell instantly. People don't make these becus of the cost of avasta paper and I love it. Let the scrubs have a undercutting race with potions lol.
