Crafting is supposed to be easy, fast, and everybody makes a ton of coin, right? ZOMG, I'm gonna be rich!!!!!!! Just ... like ... everybody ... else.

If it were any easier, then everybody would do it, nobody would buy the stuff we're making, and then it just becomes a way to kill time. Hmmmm ... that could negate the desire to craft ****. Easy crafting leads to a saturated market, lowering the value of commodities to fuel cost alone, since the only difference would be time invested, and if you remove that, then why craft? Anyone who's got the slightest bit of insight should be able to figure this out.

All of those games are still around. Please tell by what standard do you measure success in a MMO? If you are even thinking of comparing it to WoW then you can STFU because nothing has been able to touch WoW and there is little chance anything ever will. WoW is a GUI for a social network. People play it to socialize and that's it. They could care less if the game was good or not. The only reason these MMOs are "failing" is people are not looking to play MMORPGs when they give them a try, they are looking to play WoW.

To the OP:
I buy 500k worth of mats. I can sell the product for 800k. If it took no time to craft I could sell the product for 500k. Why? Because I didn't do anything and anyone could do what I did. The product has no value because it becomes common.

For example: Diamonds are expensive. Why? There is nothing inherently that gives a diamond value. They look nice, they are super hard and useful for industries, but what makes them so expensive is they are not abundant. If diamonds were to grow on trees then diamonds would be worth about as much as an apple. But they don't. They are deep underground, require effort to mine, and there isn't a lot of them. That's why diamonds are expensive.

Could you do me a personal favour? Please stop for a moment before posting and ask yourself, "Why is this problem I am having happening?". Could you not have thought for a moment about why crafting takes time instead of making yourself look delayed and posting a whinge thread about it?

If you want the crafting to be less painful here is my advice: Make sure your room is really clean, walk your dog, take out the garbage, and be really helpful around the house. Then when you ask your parents if its ok to keep the computer on all night to craft they will be more likely to say yes and you won't have to spend your after homework playtime watching your toon craft.

Thats why I try to save all my crafting for football sundays where I can watch the games while I craft. That or do it while Im afk or sleeping. Its not all that hard to do mass crafting.

Whats annoying is the stupid frackin dance my char does after each and every creation. That wastes a good 2-3 sec every time.

Actually this is pretty false. There is a very large number of diamonds but the number of diamonds that actually enter the market is controlled in order to keep prices high. If all of the diamonds stored in vaults owned by the De Beers Group and other diamond producing companies were released onto the market they would instantly become worthless.

Hard doesn't equate to having to AFK for 3 hours while you wait for the system to make mats.

well have to agree with OP somewhat the bars are annoying, would rather just see a quick animation and just get a fail or item made: name of item or item made: name of crit item.

but if im making mats i just hit the craft all button and go find something to do, if im doing work orders I usually plan ahead and buy most of the mats I need from NPC and while watching TV click click craft all.

Only an hour? Hah, man you're going to be nyerked later when you need an entire day to craft.

True Blood has been awesome, very good to watch while crafting. Me and my fiance craft during the same time so we can pop shows or a movie or anime on while the game does its thing.

Also, hey gaiz quit feeding the trollz.
