399 to 400 quest

Gotta make a blue item tome (crit), which requires a green tome (also critted). Mats for the green tome is in excess of 1-2 million kinah. It seems almost impossible to me.. Has anyone out there actually done it? With my luck, I'd probably spend over 50 million to make that item :/

gahter the mats yourself, just buy the things that are hard to farm in a reasonable time (fluxes, elemental stones).
shouldnt be that expensive then.

a few ppl. here have done it already - yes, there is a thread o nthe first page already...

missing the same last part 2. any idea how many of the Durable Proof Tome (white) i should have the mats to make before it's any point to start trying. im guessing my self atlest 10 , but 20 should be kinda liitle safer to get the crit of the crit...

what do u guys think?

why do a unnecesary expence, im doing 1 a day, if it doesnt crit i go grind and come back nxt day with gathered/bought material for a nother

having quest in quest log doesnt bother me at all, its free, compared to buying tones of mats for multiple tries.
then again im ill get expert when i get it , no rush here, everybody is doing alchemy

It really is not that hard of a recipe, just expensive for the Major Power Crystals and Wisdom stones,

It is also a white recipe that you need to proc to a green.

If you had to proc a green, then take that into a worthy and pray for a blue proc then I could see it being pretty frustrating. I am only lvl 31 so I can't obviously farm for the Premium Weapon Fluxes as those are off 40s but the rest of the stuff I can get from Aether Gathering and farming cast to build the Major Crystals and Wisdom Stones. Subcombines to make that many stones and crystals is gonna be a long process though just for 1 recipe combine.

thats exactly what we have to do. theres two steps to mastery quest- first the green orb, then the blue book.

i haven't even attempted my book yet

Im on the first stage of the Alchemy 399-400 quest to make a Noble Durable Orb.

THis takes 6 fine weapon fluxes (20000+ each on Azphel server)
30 Greater Wisdom Stones
14 Greater magic crystals
55 aether gems

IVe tried this recipe 5 times now with 4000 DP and always just get the white orb. It never gets a blue.

Is it possible to just buy the item i need from the broker and get teh quest credit?

It would be lots cheaper.

There are no white to blue recipes. Certainly not for the quest. White to Green for first quest. Then white to green, green to blue for second quest.

Fine Weapon Flux for the first part (white ones). They don't cost too much and you return 80% of your investments if you vendor white orb.
Premium Weapon Flux & Worthy Premium Weapon Flux for second part. You will need like 5x times more whites than green ones.

I thought I would pop in here and make a post, because I have been trying to do the 399 to 400 quest for Alchemy for the past two days straight.

It took me a total of 24 attempts to make a Noble Durable Truth Orb, even with full 4000 DP while I was crafting. It was certainly a tiresome process...I almost thought it wouldn't end.
