I did 4 tries on that shield an 2 of those crit. Worthy Premium Flux is so expensive now that I cba to do the last shield.

Im on my 3rd try for the Orichalcum Shield both times before I got the green version. Ive spent so much money on this its stupid, Im so jealos of some people too cause 2 in my guild got it on first try.

Because I have done the zerg guild thing one too many times and being one in an endless mass of random people is just totally pointless and un-fun to me. I prefer the tight knit groups, communication and skill that a smaller, more organized guild has. I have no problem struggling a bit to level up and getting mats on my own. We share stuff, but we just don't have as much, and more often then not, we are using those materials to make stuff for each other.

I have hit almost 300 Alchemy and over 300 Armorsmith and I am only level 32 right now. That is entirely on my own, buying my own materials and funding it all myself. It isn't that difficult. I did it on my own and it is much more of an accomplishment, plus I know the market and everything very well from being a very aware crafter. You have to be to survive mostly alone in your funding.

A zerg guild crafter with 80 people throwing mats, cash, recipes, and everything at them ... how is that difficult at all? Oh wait, it isn't. It would be like going and spending 150 dollars and buying gold from a bot, it isn't impressive to me in the slightest. I will get there eventually. What is the rush? Especially when mat costs are so ridiculous right now, pushing to 400 would be pointless (especially since I can't even use the Adamantium stuff yet ...).

Ha the expert armorsmith quest is so broken I just tried a 3rd time and failed this evening. Ive spent over 12m now on those fluxes its so stupid its not even funny.

wow, hearing some of you guys talk about how much it costs to attempt this is crazy. ^ 12m? thats ridiculous. i havent even broken 1.5 total kinah at one point in the game. highest i think ive had was 1.2 million

From what I have heard it takes around 1 million to go from 300-399. Then the shield attempts are probably 8-10 million (or more?) per try. I don't know for certain yet. But I definitely don't have the money to attempt it yet. I am at almost 2 million now, I want to have at least 5-8million before I try.

Hopefully by then, prices will steady some. Fluxes should not be going for more than 50k, ever. The armor isn't even worth making if it costs over 5 million in fluxes to make it ... and that is green that can proc into a blue ...

Its really the flux at this point that has me.

I have only tried once and didn't even go to the crit screen
I know of only one person who passed so far and it took him 4 tries

The fluxes are going for 1.2 million each at the moment and its not worth the money, nor do I have it to invest 6 million in fluxes to fail.

Thankfully I am starting to kill the correct level mobs to have a chance at the drop.
I want to get 10 before I even try again maybe if I try 2 together I'll have a better chance, but the fluxes are very rare atm just due to not alot of people killing 47+ mobs

So can you really buy it if its on broker and complete the expert final exam. As it only took me 1 attempt on the others but i can't even find this reciepe any where. Yea I am up to 1.1mil in work orders just for shield. Someone sold one they made for 15mil in the broker yesterday also.

yeah i had to buy my first shield for 2 mill and now that im on the second one ive leveled from 30 to 32 doing nothing but 390 work orders. Any help out there at all would be great. i have tried full DP, no DP, half DP and i cant get that Worthy Durable design drop. Spent well over 1Mill on work orders and i understand it should be tough but over 4 days of straight crafting and 2 lvls later? thats a little much you think?



UPDATE: i just got my Worthy Durable Orich Recipe at lvl 32 on my Asmodian. only took 30hrs of crafting lvl 390 WO's, over 12Mil xp (just form crafting), 3.5 Mill Kinah, and now comes the hard part lol. actually getting it to proc. I dont even have enough worthy premium armor flux for 1 try yet but im totally stoked that i finally got the recipe
