Buy their item.
Relist it at your fair price.

If your price is really _fair_ then it will sell.
You just made a giant profit.

Simple really. I do it all the time. What you have to do is judge at what price point it is worth being the monopoly seller. But if you have something you _know_ will sell for 10k and someone prices it at 5k, and its only 1 item.. I'd buy it and make the 5k profit.

Crafting is PvP, someone undercutting you is trying to gank your Kinah.

Gank them right back. You can buy up their stock and resell at a profit, or you can undercut them and get into a price war. If you can't make a profit doing either of these things, then you've been beaten, and you should treat your craft skills like an area of the abyss that's camped by a guy that's higher level than you.

People are going to undercut you who are trying to simply make a single blue piece, and want to dump all their green worthy fails for the best they can get. You'll usually see them put up like 2-3 of the same item at a time at the same price, usually substantially lower than yours or even under cost, because they just want to make that blue and move on, not make a profit.

Sometimes, you can just wait out the market. Sometimes, it will just be flooded by these people.
2 days ago I sold a pair of WD Adamantium Greaves for 450k, now there are about 5 up on the broker for between 200-300 and my second pair won't sell. I'm simply going to wait it out and hope the market clears up, if not though, I'll just undercut and move to orichalum.

This happend to me at the Titanium crafting lvl. If you aren't in a hurry to get the cash, it will usually sell if you wait it out. I mostly craft gear for myself and my guildmates. However, I do follow the market a lot, and I craft based on the supply/demand that I see on the AH. That's how I've made my money. But as of late, I have noticed a LOT more crafted items up for sale in both the 20s and 30s. And here I was starting to think that people had given up on crafting. =P

This happened to me as well and it isn't only for 'cheaper' items. Especially when they have really nice stats. Put up the Noble Judge's Chain Gloves for 950k, only 1 other on sale at 1.05m. The great thing about these gloves is the passive +5% attk speed buff.

1 hour in, I find the guy at 1.05 undercutting me at 949,999 kinah lol. So I figure, what the hey, the vendor fees are already a sunk cost, why not wait it out.

2 days in, I find the same guy trying to sell the Noble gloves for 899,999 via private store lol. At this time, my set of Noble gloves are the only one on broker.

5 days in, when I am thinking to reset to a lower price like 850k, the gloves sell.

There is a caveat to my story - I did not need the extra kinah, so I could 'afford' to wait it out. If you really need the cashflow, I suggest not to follow my example

The weekend is the only time my auctions sell. I've given up on the 1-399 market, there is no profit to be made. Last night I got a tell from somebody asking me to craft them a full set up armor, and they offered me less Kinah than it would cost to buy the charcoal and acid. When I pointed this out, I was told I was a scumbag trying to rip people off. I blame every single person who bought Kinah to powerlevel their armorsmithing for ruining the free market. You can't compete with people who buy Kinah to fund all their attempts at procing blue armor pieces, who then sell the greens at rock botton prices.

I will usually just give people the recipe and tell them to give me the mats to make it all if they don't want to pay for it directly from me.

Making ingots (adamantium good start) can make you alot of kinah on the AH. Alot of higher levels smiths (experts) dont want to spend the time to make 1000-2000 ingots (needed for full sets of armor sometimes) and will pay pretty good price on AH for made ingots. I know on Trinial there is not alot of ingots for sale on AH and when they are they go fast.

This is what I do. I remember posting some blue gloves I made up for 300k. Then some idiot came along and posted the same blue gloves for 150k. It costs over 150k in fluxes to make the damn item ... I bought out his auction and sold both gloves for 300k. Free 150k.

I am now working on my next Broker money making scheme, I will know the results hopefully in the next week or 2. Timing is everything ... so hopefully what needs to happen, happens, soon
