An Asmodian's Home?

i personally would prefer Old Gothic Cathedral type interior for Asmodian homes.
w/ victorian furniture and such.

it would most definately be magnificient.

the color scheme for my home would be deep purples Blues and some hints of green blotched about the room (for contrast) and an amazing Master bed w/ Master bath and jacuzzi....o wait..........

I haven't played any MMOs with the housing feature. Can someone explain to me how this works? It seems like you'd need a ton of room just for houses in the world.

Me neither, but I think it's cool to have a house, even though I don't think i'll stay there much...

Quite simple really. Your 'house' is like a dungeon/instance. Or your own personal 3D chat room. You just go to a specific area in the world and zone in. It's your place connected to your character and you can put stuff in it like SIMs.

I personally think it can be rather good for economy. Spending money on furniture, and perhaps like EQ2 where you actually had to pay rent for your space. Keeps there from being too much currency in the world and it being worth next to nothing.

In SWG you had 10 lots that could hold any sort of structure from resource collectors to houses and bigger houses took up moe lots. You would see houses all over the place but most were with in cities or where malls of personal shops near the major player hubs.

Mmmm cave/earth walls and rock floors. Cast Iron or Volcanic Glass furiture. Lots of dark shear and luminous flowers. And a hot spring<--- actual spring not a tub. Fire Pyres. and weapons of defeated enemies (Elyos and NPCs) hanging from the ceiling.

My house will be very Goth in a sense, Dark colors, Bones of my victims used as goblets and Candle holders, a fire place with a nice Skeletal front.. or maybe a skull with the fire in its mouth, Blood red robe, Big King like chair facing the fire place, Roman Style Arch windows with dark-purplish glass. a bed fashioned out of the horns of beasts... a fur blanket... a banquet hall table with lots of chairs, so i can invite my Elyos friends and server them there comrads body parts teriyaki style...

mine maybe should look like an old victorian style mansion with worn out carpets and curtains with dark color, and an altar with candles all over , baphomets drawn on the velvet walls and creepy crawlers ^^ black rats with red eyes... and a tortured body of an Elyos in the center

I like the moss/fungi/glowing insects ideas, they are closer to the "faerie" concept that it sounds like the Asmodian cities have.

I wish we could embrace that concept and have our houses be more like doorways to Underhill. Step through my house's door and step into a forest or onto a beach (alternate dimension, not to another location in the world). But I suppose this is kind of a Sidhe approach to faerie... guess we'll have to see what the developers have in mind.

Oooh, I actually like that idea too. Be able for your house to actually be a small section of beach, or a little place in a bog with water and trees and stuff. That would be super cool.

Hmm, I wonder how much houses will actually be used if we'll have them. I mean, in FFXI you actually have to visit your home every now and then and most people still don't really bother trying to decorate it.

I'm not really big on decorating rooms myself and I like to go for convenience above all else. I guess I'd just sleep under the stars. :P
