An Asmodian's Home?

There's been talk of having houses within the game. I think they're going to make them like Everquest 2 where you can actually invite people into them.

So here's the discussion. We all know that Elyos houses will be sun shiny and have like...pink bunnies...anyways...

What would your Asmodian's house look like if you could decorate it? That is to say, what furniture options, color schemes, etc. do you think Devs should give to the Asmodians?

Let's see...my Asmodian dream home would be something warm and cozy with a fire place and some sort of furry skin rug. There would be chandeliers and wall sconces with lots of flickering candle light. I'd like things done in dark colors with hints of light around to make the space look large. For instance mauve walls with cream trim. I'd hope they'd give us more than one room. I'd like an upstairs and a downstairs. The downstairs would have the living area with fireplace and such, and a dining area with deep cherry wood table and lots of chairs. The upstairs would be the bedroom area of course. I'm obsessed with round beds. I always loved the Blood Elf 'hookah tent' looking things.

So let's see, I want fire places, rugs, candles, nice dining room sets and round beds.

What do you guys want? Boars heads on the walls? Maybe shields and swords up on the walls? What about each house being like a dungeon or a castle? Maybe we live in tents?

On topic, I really would like houses to look like whatever you want them to. If you spend a lot of money you get a big house. But, for a little bit of money, you get a little house. Plus, I think houses should be able to be raided. For example, an Asmodian Legion could buy a house to act as the guild hall, but if an Elyos raid comes in, they could sack the place. Just an idea.

I'm thinking there should be like three or four 'layouts' you can choose from. Like...Dungeon, Log Cabin, Conventional, and...mmm...Modern? So give people some variety. So you can visit people and go from huge depressing dungeons to big retro places with lots of colors. So that everyone's place can look different and there not be sooo many different layouts that it becomes cumbersome for the Devs.

So you want things to put on the walls I take it. XD Though in seriousness, trophies and/or rep things that you CAN hang on the wall. I mean like a wall plaque for 100 opponents killed in PvP. Would be something cool.

But yes on topic, being able to raid opposing faction houses could be cool. Legion Halls would make the most sense for this. I mean wrecking a level 10s little home they've been scraping together seems a bit pointless, but maybe having a feature for Legion Halls that you can toggle on and off. Like it puts a flag out front that says it's a PvP area at a certain time like the Abyss. Wouldn't be worth raiding if no one was there...but if people were in there they could switch 'PvP on' in case a raid came through and fighting could go on inside the hall.

It will eventually depend on what we can do with our house. But I'm the type to make a conventional house.
Like making a sleeping corner, a study corner, a dining corner and a dressing/washing corner. And hang all sorts of things on the walls like flags.

I did the same thing on FFXI and it looked good.

Cool ideas. But of course in FFXI you couldn't bring people into your home. I like being able to have people come in, sit down...hang out...Another thing that would be good inside the home, would be the ability to dual. Some games it's not possible to do inside the homes. But I tend to enjoy drunken half naked fist fights. Hehehe.

Took them a while to do it....>_>
Let's hope that Aion won't pull a stunt like that.

I had heard they were going to do that. Didn't know it actually got implemented. I haven't played FFXI in a while. Mm, only took them...how many years? XD

I think there houses were awsome, though took up a lot of room. You could get rare quest items like paintings to hang on the walls & shyt like that.

I plan to play asmodian in the official release soo...

My idea of the home decoration would be closer to the colours of Pandamonium ;p

I would have lights that are from the tail of firefly (so pretty much a light glowing without support from a lamp or hanging down from ceiling, just a floating light). Somewhat dim room, light purple translucent drapes over every doorway and surrounding the bed. Maybe with butterflies on the drapes! purple ones. Seats made from tree stumps. Bed covered with a blanket made out of Elyos feathers that I pluck off them > Sparkles on the walls. Vines covering the columns of the house etc
