Mane Customization

Hmmm... always feels a little weird posting a new thread when I'm still new. Maybe this has been gone over here somewhere, but it's just so much content, and since I don't see it in the Asmo section (where it should belong), here we go:

What do you guys think about the Asmodian tail? I know some people would prefer not to have it. I'd be fine with it if it were a little different. Is there a reason for it to be so high on the person's back? Also, why is it always white? There is so much customization in Aion, surely we should be able to customize at least the color of our tails? Personally, I'd like my tail to match my hair, and I think other people feel the same way (this could explain why 99% of Asmodian females I've seen so far have white hair).

Its actually back hair but yeah alot of people would like to have their "tail" to match.

I was about to yell at you for a repeat thread, but your going with a decoration view on it so I guess it's okay. I do agree that the mane(get it right people) should be able to be customized to match your hair on your head. It would be mildly annoying to try and make a punk Asmodian, with neon green hair and total emo build, but with this massive white mane on your back. Don't have the option to remove it, but make it to where you can change the size and color. Maybe even mohawk it.

Sooooo it's officially called a mane, eh? I'll change the title, then. I see the back hair but at the end it really looks like a tail. I guess that explains why it's higher up than an actual tail.

Pffft I can't edit my title? Oh well! Use your imagination and pretend it says "The Mane," then.

Edit: So I just read some of the other posts on the mane and the intention here is indeed a bit different; to take the "decorative" route. I do like to have "deformities," otherwise I'd be playing something boring, looking like the humans that I see everyday in real life. In an MMO I like to be green and have claws and tusks and horns or whatever I can have that will make me different and badass (but still pretty and sexy). So the concept of a mane or a tail or anything of that sort is pretty cool, but in a highly customizable game such a feature should be customizable as well.

I agree. If I must have a mane... I hope I can adjust it to match muh toons appearance and it not be an annoying white strip that makes me /blahhhh every time I see it.

I really would take it for granted to be able to customize such a main factor of appearance. It's one of the few things that seperate Asmodians from Elyos, having it's shape, size and color changable by your tastes should really be added into the game. Perhaps it would be even possible to add a lion-like mane for the males only and some kind of other special shapes. (Mainly that mane for males only because of the fact that female lions don't have mane's at all.)

I just hope the lack of mane custimization is just with the whole concept of "The asmodian side is a little bit incomplete still.", rather than the devs not thinking of it. Added the fact that there are other things to worry over still.

I agree i thingk it should stay it looks ok to me, but if it would mach that would be nice to.

I think it starts with the color you've chosen for your hair, and turns white getting closer to the end.

Its sure be good to customize it, even if I didnt see it... The faq that asmo have a tail.. sorry a mane, make me want to choose that faction somehow But I want to see some pics of asmo!

So can someone post Asmo pics or show me some link to them lol I dont find any... Now i dont search anymore, but when I did last week end, nothing.

Yes, this is what it's currently like. I haven't heard anything about being able to customize it at all.

No, we don't have an official English version name for it yet. Mane just seems to be the word of choice for the Asmodians here.

Interesting, didnt know that. I think thats a really cool feature tbh. However it would be strange if over time the mane fades to white, but your hair colour remains the same. Hair Dye FTW?....

Ahhh very cool! Thanks, guys! That's much better than what I had thought it was like based on what I'd previously seen, but still I think I would rather be able to have my whole mane be the same color as my hair.

Oh well, good enough. But that leaves me to my next nitpick... the Asmodian female natural high-heel! I think I'll make a post about that.

Edit: Actually, I'd rather not. Maybe someone can help me here. Is this thing customizable? Can it be removed? I don't want to have a natural high heel. I hate high heels! I like the Asmo male feet, I was hoping I could do the same for an Asmo female.
