From the screenshots, Elyos areas tend to look like "spring" and Asmodian look more like "autumn." Both are really pretty, and I love both times of the year, though in a lot of ways, I have to give it to the autumn time of the year... purples, reds, oranges, golds... all with duskier colors of green and brown to match. It's just so soothing.

Spring is very bright greens, yellows, whites, everything budding. Not so much soothing, like asmodian areas seem from screenshots, but more cheery, because everything's 'new.'

Either way, props to the designers. The game is gorgeous.

i hate spring with a burning passion. alergies, stinging insects, HEAT... the only + is that girls start losing clothes during the transition form winter to summer :P

that said, scenery design is top notch ^_^ but elyos weather looks too hot for me

I think you got that right. Asmodian does looks like autumn. Personally i like how Asmodian looks and we do get the mushrooms which is kind of cool.

heh, I like the appearance and area's of elyos in general better but asmodian area's do have some pretty area's, in general I pick the one with the easier time during late game leveling, I know they are totally not related :P, other then I would end up making my char pretty anyway so it does not matter much

edit: also I am a nightwalker, I prefer the evenings and the night

I personally like both environments. They look really pretty. but the asmodians just pwn elyos. yes!
