Ok heres the deal.

Way back when, NCsoft only had pictures/videos of Elyos. Not one person knew anything about the Asmodians or what they looked like. Even I myself was intrigued by their apperance. It happened to everyone I think. Then when they decided to show Asmodians people started picking/choosing their alligience (sp?).

Look at it this way Kitten....

1. Even though your Asmo, you will be able to visit the Elyos sides
2. While your visiting said area, you will also see Elyos right before your eyes
3. Over time they will be nothing more to you then a kill/honor points

You WILL stay on the Asmodian side, lest you want to face the wrath of OMEGAFORCE!!! j/k

Elyos are too blah, if you really wanna be an Elyos then guess what, you pretty much already are one. You just don't have the wings to prove it.

Elyos = Human
Asmodian = Non-Human

That is all

If you pick Elyos you'll probably have to PVP against me. Muahaha, but who knows, I was thinking about flipping a coin for it anyway.

Environment's are cool, but I don't think you should base your choice on the cosmetics of the starting zones. Eventually you will travel wherever you like, right? That's the way I look at it at least. If you seem undecided still, if you have friends playing just roll whatever they roll.

Steroids make you stronger in the end, just ask any MLB player.

Zones are zones, they will look different. As long as the game isn't more than 50% dark and gloomy, it won't be a sink.

And when you stop taking steroids, you go into depression and while still on them have a chance of killing people due to roid rage.

Chris Benoit is a prime example of this.

To be honest Kitten, I'd go with whichever side best fit your charcater style....The world is split into "Light and "Dark" but it was noted that this was not intended to necessarily mean both "Good" and "Evil." Both come from the same fanatical breed...

Asmodians live in the dark world, are the underdogs of Atreia, and do anything they can to survive
Elyos live in a light world, know no suffering, and are dogmatic with their behavior

Both are fanatical but for different reasons, as was determined by the god AION. It would be interesting if the Asmodians were the one who wnated to call off the war, because to me that seems more humanitarian, but IMO the elyos are nothing but spoiled fundamentalist evangelicals who feel the need to impose their view of the world on the rest...all done with a pretty face...which, isn;t how it's normally done?
