Basicly for the same reasons that other people have posted. And because I wanted my character to be more dark and have more backbone then always playing as the "Good Guys"

I like the way the Asmodian girls look, of course Ill probly play the Eylos side as well. Asmodians also seem to have an overdose of shades of purple, pink and lavender; the later two being my favourites. Bright glaring colours tend to give me migraines if I look at them too long.

And no Asmodians arent evil, just because they are demonic looking doesnt make them evil. :P

2) Asmodians look kick *** like a mix between Vampires and Werewolves which is pretty awesome compared to Elyos who just look like Humans

Why not? It's actually quite a interesting and potentially fun concept, and I actually toyed with the idea myself before I decided upon Asmodian, because yes, I think people assume the Asmodian are "evil" because they "look" like demons, vampires, etc, and in current society trends, evil is somehow sexy. And as sweetness and light as the Elyos appear, you'd expect butter wouldn't even melt in their mouths...but I'm sure there's a few bad apples among that bunch - and that would be worth a fair bit of story.

Still, I'm going Asmodian, to give a good counterfoil to the Elyosian guilds out there who may wish to play their characters a bit more immersively.

The Asmo, seem to have more passion from what you can see of them, both in their creation and their world. There is no easy way out taken, no green grass and blue skies. Everything is so uniquely executed. We have neon trees, glowing floating orbs everywhere, our grass is blue, and our skies always look great (Elyos skies look cool at night).

Basically, it just seems like the more passionate of the two races and way more unique without being hideous, both in race and in world.

I agree with you 100%. I love the asmodians, because:
1) I like to refer to them as "Dark Angels" beause it sounds cool, they look cool, and they can either be good, neutral, or bad based on appearance alone.
2) Their wings are much cooler, and the "dark" atmosphere really gets to me.
3) My friends would pick them
4) Im like 1/2 emo, lol (Only half!)
