Because I like the Asmodian background.

I chose them because i like how they look and, because i am a complete nerd, they look like my image of dark elves from Forgotten Realms. Plus their landscape is so faerie with its dim to dark lighting and pretty things all around. Plus they have claws.

Thats why I SAID MISUNDERSTOOD. Some people think they are evil but they aren't actually. People think I'm evil but I'm not. thats one of the reasons I picked them.

The misunderstood thing gets frustrating for me at least when people are like "I wanna be Elyos because I like to play the good guy." Or "Their culture is very dark and I don't like that" at first the misunderstood thing was cool for me but then having to explain that "Asmo aren't evil and they don't have a dark and/or sinister or violent culture, they're half of the planet just gets very little sunlight," got annoying.

In the end I chose them because they look powerful, their eyes glow with ferocity in battle, they have powerful looking claws and when you see pictures of the larger Asmo warriors it just looks right and fear inspiring. The Elyos are so plain to me, it is very standard looking human race. No fierce glow of the eyes no aura of wisdom radiating from them, nothing, just people with cliche bird wings trying to be angels. The Asmo, seem to have more passion from what you can see of them, both in their creation and their world. There is no easy way out taken, no green grass and blue skies. Everything is so uniquely executed. We have neon trees, glowing floating orbs everywhere, our grass is blue, and our skies always look great (Elyos skies look cool at night).

Basically, it just seems like the more passionate of the two races and way more unique without being hideous, both in race and in world.

Ok so you post a video relating Asmo to the bad guys in a vampire movie and someone says they aren't evil like or that ugly and suddenly we are emo? Please to explain, my post stated my opinion on the general idea of misunderstood is getting old.

well because the vampires pretty look like asmo.. just that they dont have the bat face look lol. and anyway asmo will be played by more dark side players .. and that will make them more aggressive that elyos . but there still will be elyos aggressive type lol .. don't worry.

Well.. Heres my list(In no special order):

1. Asmodians will have less players, and I want to add another number in their favor.

2. I would feel guilty watching Elyos outnumber Asmodians, and would not participate in PKing if someone is outnumbered. Thus leading to my boredom of not being able to guilt-free PvP.

3. Elyos look too much like humans, I find humans boring.. Why do I want to look like a human in game, when I am that in real life?

4. Asmodians have a sexy Werewolf/Vampire appeal to them, and I've always had extreme fantasies about Vampires, and Werewolves! ^_^0

5. I too enjoy some of the darker sides of life.. Plus the sun hurts my eyes. ;P

I chose Asmodians because I know that I would never be able to play those queer looking Elyos. They look far to perfect/homosexual for me. So Asmodians win by default for me. Good thing they look badass as well.
