Why? Humans are made of cells, which aren't in any way attractive, but they form what we call, sexy things. You can't interact the way you're thinking with something made of pixels, but said thing can be eyecandy as much as celebs are eyecandy for non-gamers.

In this world, yes...but then again even that you could question if you want to argue whether one is rightfully evil to be denied the blessing of their god becaise they possessed free will and decided to live as they pleased, to then have a regime of fanatics become the new chosen ones and then push you out of your own world and into a separate dimension. In that case, perhaps the Elyos and Asmodians are "evil"

This is my main reason for rolling Asmodian... It's a fantasy game so I think it is logical to play as a character that is as far away from anything you see in real life. Also, I like to slaughter 14 year olds in internet video games. My guess is that most of the kiddies will play Elyos so I have a better chance at punking some little brats in PvP if I roll Asmodian.

Probably because when I first learned about Aion, and I saw the Elyos, I went "Oh gods, they have angel wings, how cheesy." Then I found out that the Elyos are the fantasy equivalent of rich, entitled kids (have the looks, the gorgeous home, and think they are blessed by the gods and can do no wrong), and that was pretty much it right there. I can already feel myself wanting to throttle the next Elyos I see, from sheer annoyance, so I think that makes me an asmodian.

Except I do covet some of the Elyos hairstyles. *wistful sigh* The asmodian women don't seem to do simple long hair. I hope it's just a matter of beta-limitations.

All that said, the bat wings and glowy eyes are...also cheesy. But not as cheesy as wannabe-angels. I guess the whole wing thing is cheesy to me, since my degree in biology makes it hard for me to get past the "but..but...you wouldn't be able to fly with wings like that". I'm glad the wings only show up occasionally, and it's explained as a magical thing. Yay magic.
