Bat Wings Gone?

After looking at the last picture in the new translations I love the look of the new wings! I have to say the bat wings made me cringe every time I saw them. Maybe I don't have to pick Elysea race anymore I can pick whatever I want.

Let's just hope those aren't the really high level and powerful wings you have to get through PvP.

Nice to see some variation, though I'm not sure if I like the ragediness of the wings, it does look interesting. And man What about that Balaur?

I'm actually not a fan of the new wings. The whole "bat wing" thing seemed to really fit a race that lives and evovles in darkness.

I like the new wings. but man how the roleplayers will come out from the shadows into AION. Not saying it is a bad thing... but you know how RP-ers are. As for the bat wings... i loved that idea since i was planning to make my character look like one of my favorite succubi. (spelling?) but that just changes my idea of making my character.

They are pretty cool.... but I fear this will bring an influx of people to the Asmo side... I kinda liked that bat wings.

It says elyos wings changed too... any pics of that?

The new wings that have been seen are a replacement for the Batwings from what i absorbed from the 2 translations that were released yesterday. The bat wings are no more and the New wings were implemented to better fit the Lore between the Asmodians and Elyos and how they are not simply 2 different races but nearly the same people. (read the lore on the official website) The new Black featehered wings are not Upgrades.
You will see in ( i think 2 of the 3 vids) the new Asmo wings in Use. Very nice looking IMO.

Doh! That sucks. I actually think the lore would have been a bit more flavorful if they kept the bat wings. It made it seem as if they were actually different from the Elyos. Now, they're just counterparts, not necessarily different. However, as far as aesthetics go, I much prefer the feather wings over the bat wings as I find that they did a pretty bad job with the bat wings.
