They stole me name!

I found this the funniest thing in a long time.

Long have I played Guild Wars, two years have I had my name: Asmodeus. Is it just me, or is it my name!? I'm sure the name means something, in some language, but I find it amusing that they used a family (for real, great great great--well you get it--grandpa) name as a game name! And yes, I was called 'Asmo'

Admittedly, that's a pretty unusual name you have there. But don't worry, many names can have dark meanings such as that; such as mine. If I were to take the entirety of my name, it would roughly translate to the phrases "Descending guardian angel of darkness" or "Protecting raven that flows" or really any various combination depending how you choose to translate it, though the idea is basically the same. Regardless, you shouldn't fret over it too much, as a name is just that, and only has as much meaning as you choose to put into it.

According to the lore, Daeva means demon.

So...i'm an asmodian and i ascend into a demon being. Well sounds ok to me.
