I think, not too good idea this 20sec timer on the stealth. The stealth is the main skill for the assassins. 20sec is just not long enought. I like the WoW way. Stealth without timelimit. I wana be an Assassin. I love the stealthy way, but the timelimit can be ruins this gamestyle. In PvP can cause serious problems (with the -40% movement speed, we can not caught anyone, who see us before the stealth, all they need to do is just run away for 20sec, then turn around when we not in stealth, and kill us).

I read this somewhere:

"Assassin: We've received a lot of complaint and feedback regarding assasins being weak and having a small role in both small and large group PVP. To fix this issue we will be adding 2 new skills to assasins: [strong strike] and [master stealth]."

Anyone know, what is the [master stealth]???

I just hope they can balance flight and stealth to where they work well in conjunction with eachother against someone who can fly...like, maybe certain moves will knock you from flight? Something to give them an advantage if they're fighting someone who flies a lot. I'm not sure how the combat will be when it comes out...or even based on the videos in this thread, but time will tell yeah?

And to add, ShS Rogues pretty much rape everything in WoW, pvp wise anyhow...I don't even pvp as a caster anymore, theres simply no reason unless you're a SL/SL Warlock and have incredible eye coordination (when against someone who isn't a moron of course).

I don't think that the "flying away from the assassin" thing is gonna work. It has been said that the skills available in flight are limited, and the assassin should have at least moderately damaging ranged attacks with a bow. To simply state that the class is gimp when stealth is removed from the equation is a hasty statement.

People are missing the idea that flight should add strategy to the battle. All players should be trying to gain advantage on the other through flight, but simply booking for the sky isn't the default option (or even necessarily a good one) it just depends on the situation. Like all PVP encounters

I think no, they not overpowered. The most hated... yes. Because they kill u without warning, when u on low HP, then go away in stealth. So u can't take revenge on them. This is why the peoples feel overpowered. For example, in WoW, the warriors, druids, can beat the rogues easily. Assassin/rogue classes deadly for low armour casters. That is true. But for someone in heavy armour... that is another story.

I can't go all over again with this.. of course is the most discussed/controverted/hated class be cause no1 likes to be stealth . But over powered? Never it will be, be cause of the light armor. But when u become a skilled assassin ppl tend to think that we get over powered because the skills make us untouchable

no.. there is heavy armor - tanks,warriors, light armor - rogue , sins, archers,w.e. ; and robes, mage armor - casters, mages

In some games yeah, in others...it's a ''do enough damage to kill them or watch them kill you''...basically, do damage that counts. That can't be healed with a curing potion or a healing spell. Kill.

WoW's Rogue has a ton of avoidance for example...adding to the already deadly killing power. So thats a good slate towards being a powerful class already...

If u don't have fun with an assassin, then what is the point in playing 1? PvE with an assassin is not so fun, he is weak, dies a lot, hard training. the only think fun with an assassin is PvP
