In the main hand, that is) Same basic idea with the offhand, tho a different approach, because you need a way to artificially increase the offhand damage, and one way to do that is to increase the crit rate. If you play a rogue in WoW then the concept would be a little more clear, but i hope that helped. of course, if the game, and weapons, are perfectly balanced then its all a matter of play style
