I'd prefer one dagger and a lot of stabbing based skills...I never really liked those combo point style assassins you see in WoW and GW with dual wield. I also never liked stealth/invisibility.

The dagger chars in L2 are one of the most unique and coolest assassin type chars IMO. No stealth, but fast moving, and the highest damage dealing skills in the game. You can make people switch target to someone else, lose your target, you can bluff them to expose their back, you have some skills that attack the back of someone only....Mastering a dagger in L2 can be deadly, beat almost anything, take on parties of people at once, but most people just run up to a target and facestab.

I also like dw'ing, but I'm more for unarmed combat or fist weapons heh. :P

I totally agree with you bro, I always love the playing the monk class, fighter class etc. I grew up on martial arts films, me and my dad would always watch them, so that was a HUGE influence on me, but I also LOVE the whole dual wielding swords "idea" in general. Just the skill needed to carefully swing about the blades while still managing to keep a strong and speedy swipe is just awesome to me.

So fists/dual weps are the wtg =)

Here's hoping for a expansion pack heh... although I'm pleased I have an alternate class I like... because I like polearms too so I think gladiator will do for the time being haha.

I love unarmed. My favorite char's are monks, martial artists. Main in Oblivion is a Monk. Lets hope it's viable in Aion. Will be fun

I want to have at least some realism to the game. So I just hope they don't implements huge oversize weapon that people can dual wield. I shudder every time I think of WoW.

well guys everytime i see an assasin wielding two swords makes me angry...i do not have a problem with wielding two daggers but two longswords...assasins are no warriors after all !

They don't look really like longswords...Maybe midway between short swords and longsword? Maybe more of a duelist than anything. @_@

i prefer the small daggers on an assasin rather than longer swords they look more terrofying despite that michael myers is wielding daggers...
