no swords, no dual wield, and real looking daggers, not little steak knives, a real dagger isnt small, its like half the size of the sword...and having 2 weapons kind of defeats the purpose and precision an assassin should have. 1 dagger + evasion ftw.

edit-looks like swords...though they arent as big as a sword could be so maybe they are high lvl daggers? or maybe its a secret weapon in the game called a short sword :P

My guess would be daggers, the design on it is pretty intricate so its hard to tell. I would definitely like some more theory on the Assassin so if anyone has some info hook me up.

Nothing in Wow is about realism, I don't see what's weird about wielding those swords anyway. Have you ever tried swinging a real sword about? Humans fought in battles with those once, and it's actually really heavy just holding it. So it's not so unrealistic anyway.

Sounds like a cool class, nevertheless for me the assassin class is all about the stealth, element of surprise. Wielding only one weapon would seem odd as well, it's not like it's a 2handed dagger, so that's a empty hand gone to waste.

I never liked daggers, but I guess that is mainly due to Wow having those little butter knives that's barely visible. So as well fascination for the rogue, swords is also a reason I go that path.

I like dual wielding, not 2Handed swords.. or that is to say, I like all swords, but I would always dual wield rather then 2Hand, unless I was a some kind of Samurai (love the katanas).

Assassins should be about huge damage skills, 1 shotting, the job of an assassin isnt to run to their target and strat swinging weapon blindly..it should be precise attacks that do a lot of damage, thats why i find dual wield to be a contradiction. If you want to be a DD with 2 weapons, then go gladiator.

I just go with any class that can dual wield, in majority of games its the assassin...

in this game is 3 classes, gladiator, ranger, and assassin, although gladiator dual wield looks weak as HELL compared to them 2h wielding....ranger looks kickass with melee but they are still rangers @ heart so it is assassin for me....

Ive seen videos of a 2h gladiator and a dual wield gladiator killing mobs...it took the DW gladiator like 10x as long to kill 1 mob as it did the 2h gladiator...the last 5~10 seconds were of a 2h glad, the first minute was of a DW gladiator..

unless you speak korean, there is no sense in trusting what a video like that says...he could have been a lvl 10 killing a lvl 15 mob, while the guy with the 2h sword could have been lvl 30 killing a lvl 10 mob for demonstration

dunno, but isn't an assassin more cool with just a tiny little dagger that blows u up with kkkk of dmg?
