The joys of dual-wielding

I might go Assassin, simply because of the awesomeness of dual-wielding. There's always a joy of, at endgame, having two ultimate weapons instead of 1. Figuring out, "Hm, my Sword of a Thousand Truths is better suited to killing you than my Dagger of Nine Lives" XD. And then there's the satisfaction of not only having them enchanted to glow with fire, electricity, or whatever, but since they're endgame ultimate weapons they each have a very distinct and bad-*** look. Then again, always having to worry about 2 weapons instead of 1 can be a big pain, but I think it's very worth it in the end.

What do you guys think?

Only thing i like is the ability to dual wield daggers where i can do massive amounts of crit damage while being sneaky.

That too. Double crits, and when you're stacked on incredible speed+ stuff so you never stop cutting away.

Dual daggers indeed ftw. But you can wield dual swords on rangers as well. But I prefer the dual dagger approach ^_^. I wish we had more information on enchanting and stigmas =(....I want to start at least planning in depth what I want to do...=(

Anyway on topic. I agree Midgar, having 2 weapons is really cool, especially when as you say they both have a unique badass appearance enchanted with something even more badass. I've always been fascinated by swords in general, especially long thin ones. Katanas ftw as well.

Also played a rogue for 3 years in Wow, and mostly used swords. Remember outdamaging all the dagger rogues back in the MC days when dagger was the "hot stuff" for damage. Basically, dual wield swords all the way.

Personally I would rather one dagger(more stealthy and assassiny<---is that a word?lols)but if they wanna give me 2 I won't complain.

I'm a big fan of swords, myself. I've just always liked the look of them. They make me feel more powerful than wielding 2 teeny tiny toothpicks

Couldn't QFT that more. I also have bad experiences with daggers from Wow, they all look like butter knives.

i always did like the 2 giagantic swords they always did it for me.

nothing feels like trully hacking into someone unless the swords are bigger than they are

I always picked Dual-Wielding classes over any other ones.
Why? Because they simply look AWESOME. Though I'm not a big dagger fan, I love swords.

im actually *kinda* hoping they dont go THAT far with size. Not that the warglaves are anything to sneeze at, but i happen to side with the katana lovers, thin, strong and fast is my preference

Two weapons of anykind FTW, :P but question, anyone know if the weapons will be sperate? in which case you can weild say, sword in one hand dagger in the other? i realize this prob won't be the best damage output, but i think that would look Bad@$$, other wise, i'd definately go with dual swords
