Actually, that's quite not the case. A few days ago on the server (not when I was on, Iris told me about this cause i went to bed then lol) an asmodian assasin came all the way to Elyos zones (I forgot which one) to try to kill this mage in town but he got owned, but at least he made it there o_O.

I think stealth may increase as you get either higher level or rank, I highly doubt that 20 seconds is the final version of it. Oh well have to lvl to be able to tell

draw rune sounds pretty unique... not necessarily something an assassin would have though, but it does seem to be a unique response to the combo point system of WoW... although in that i believe most of the Rogues abilties relied heavily on it, rathar than here where it seems that only one attack does, but it seems likely that more attacks will come out for the draw rune tree.

I'm going to have to redefine the rune system a bit more, cause I took more of a look into it, slightly misinterpreted "Draw Rune" skill and the Rune itself. I have class atm though so I need to run before I fail it lol


But I'll just say this for now, "Rune" is a debuff, if any of you read manga/anime you'll know in some of them there are people who can draw "tattoos" or "runes" on themselves to enhance their own damage and also on their opponents to bind them reduce their damage or to deal dmg to them etc. The example that comes to my mind right now is Yu Yu Hakusho or whatever you spell it in the Dark Martial Art Competition there's this 1 team made of assasins and there was this 1 opponent that fought Karuma who had paint brush as weapon and he was able to paint onto himself to enhance damage and also draw symbols onto Karuma to seal his attacks etc. It's somewhat like that concept. Going off topic here :P.

Draw rune is an attack, with 6 second cooldown (I'm not sure if they're going to call it draw rune in english, but it's what it means somewhat in Korean). It'll apply the "rune" debuff on target by chance (not guaranteed), and it can only stack the rune debuff up to three times.

Rune explosion is another attack, to use it you must have "rune" debuff on the targets already, and the more debuffs there are, the more dmg this will deal. If there are already 3 rune debuffs on the target, rune explosion will also cause a stun. Rune explosion will consume 5 rune debuff max.

Note* I think the Rune debuff only stacks to 5 times. Draw rune will only allow it to stack to 3 but not any further. However.

There is a new skill at lvl 16 that uses your DP points, it's also the first of a combo chain (the rest of the skills I do not have as of the moment, so I can't tell you about it). Its called Fury of Beast or something, it's 1 single target instant attack with 6 second cooldown. Deals slightly more default dmg than draw rune, but uses 50 DP point instead of MP. This attack will have a chance to apply "Rune" debuff on the target, and it will allow you to stack the debuff to 5.

So it's probably smart to use "draw rune" until u get 3 debuffs, and if you don't feel like using rune explosion yet, you can use fury of beast to initiate the combo chain later on, or to stack the debuff to 5 times for the highest rune explosion dmg. I think there will be more Rune related skills later on.

Forgot to talk about the apply poison skill, where it consumes 1 poison bottle to apply 5 minute of poison on weapon that poisons the target. Memory lapse atm forgot whether it's the poison deals dmg on the target after the target gets it, or it increases the damage you dealt, or is it something you proc when you hit yada yada. I'll look into this later ㅠ.ㅠ

Do Assassins get to don cloak and hood? Are we tall, dark and handsome?

Whats the cooldown time and recast conditions for stealth. Like you can only cast if your out of combat for 10 or 20 seconds. Or can you cast while in combat or does it just have like 20 sec cool down to recast no conditions.

Out of combat, 30 second CD, put you in stealth for 20 second.

Have to be out of combat for a couple of seconds (seems to me it's like 5-10? But remember I lag, so that's why I wasn't able to specify it.)


It's very similar to the conditions of Stealth in WoW, except it has a timer of how long you can stay in stealth. No, as of now I don't have any skills that put me back in stealth when I already got in combat.

Uhm ^^;; Really depends on what you wear, basically you use leather, then there's craftable ones, ones you buy from merchants, and ones you find...depending on what you're wearing you'll get different looks >.> As for the looks, you can customize it Tall, short, fat, skinny, dark, light

If you don't mind me asking, what does the rune debuff prevent or reduce on the target? Or does the debuff just act as an indication of how many runes you have on the target?

From my understanding it's an indication since the amount of it determines the other skills.

Could you compare the 'runes' debuff to combo points in WoW?
Are they actually real debuffs (reduce attacks, defense...) or is it only a name?
