Shilenne, I was wondering if you knew about the assassin's ability (or lack there of) to crowd control, I have a feeling assassins will be THE 1v1 class, but will lack severly in the crowd control department

Well maybe then ppl will stop complaining about how "overpowered" Assassins are, in exchange for no crowd control we get heavy heavy damage, and while the Gladiators beat us in this, they don't have stuns. Meh I dunno, I just don't want us to get countless CC abilities like Rogues have in Wow, that just leads ppl to saying things like "Assassin takes no skill, lol assassin r so lame".

I really don't want that all over again, then I would rather like us to get really gimped, so that when you master the class you get praise. I am not saying it want us to get underpowered, but if I had to choose between OP and UP, I'd take UP. I don't want to play a class which anyone can roll and still be as skilled as me, even if I've played the class years longer then them.

I believe the majority of our damage will be spike damage from our skills. Now the interesting thing will be setting up our weapons correctly to get bigger crits and max potential damage. So until Shilenne can give us a better list on the types of upgrades we can fit into our weapons, skills should be looked at to see how they should be arranged for crit and damage effect.

Haha, I know what you mean about CC abilities. However, it seems to me that if they didn't have those abilities, they would have a very hard time killing pretty much any class...if they're any good.

People who come up with lame excuses like that are just very annoying to me.

I say... Let us keep our stuns, and just put a nice stun immunity buff up that lasts for like 6 seconds after they come out of a stun :P

Hehe, honestly.. I'd be fine without a stun if it will keep people from complaining about OPness... Just gimmie a snare.

There's always whiners for every class.
You know how some players have that hug ego and can't stand to be beaten up by another class; they're instantly overpowered.
"How could they beat me? No one can, either its hax or nerf them!"

There's always someone going like when they loose; "but I didn't use that, I didn't have that, I wasn't rdy, i misclicked, i lagged, my dog humped my leg, i had to pee" .. like, why can't you take it as fun and just get over it? It made duels in Wow less fun, ppl couldn't just have a duel and be like "gg", everyone who lost had some lame whine/flame/excuse.

imo, losing should motivate you to get better, not force you to make some lame excuse, i just hope the Aion comunity will be mature when assassins destroy everything! :P

Lmao. The MOST spammed excuse I've heard is... "lolz my cat just jumped up in front of my screen.." EVERYONE has a cat when they lose duels.

Haha, some of the excuses people come up are just so dumb. I think it's very sad that people feel the need to come up with excuses just to make it sound like they were defeated because the other person was lucky that "a cat fell from the sky and started humping their face".....that just really takes away from being able to enjoy a GAME....for me...

Lol, I personally like to hear some of the random excuses. You at least get some respect from me if it's original.

My all time favourite being some guys long epic story of how his plans to beat me and press a certain skill were foiled by the Harlem Globe Trotters challenging him to a dunking contest for his missing key back.

Also, Shilene, have there been any ninja raids on cities yet? I'm kinda looking forward to having like a group of 50 assassins all of the sudden drop out of stealth and start attacking everything in sight in a major city. (then if possible vanish and utilize the ninja-art-of-run)

i don't really see that happening in CBT, because i'm pretty sure everyone is busy with other stuff considering its ending in a few days, but i totally think we should organize something like that once it releases XD

Haha! people always come up with excuses...there are some excuses: "THE DOG TOOK MY SHOE!", "My mom called me, i need to do smt, cya later"... some of them are really......."funny" though.
Well....It would be cool to make a 50-ninja raid on a city in CBT xD
