Part of the reason that I enjoy Assassin is because you have great solo capabilities, and you're fine to do things on your own which others can't/have less capabilities to. Like grinding, surviving in PvP, killing several targets by yourself.. all those feats Assassins have.

I always look for a chance to 1v1 ppl in PvP, or 2v1, because it's just boring hacking on a target 20 other ppl hack on.. what's the fun he dies bf you get one hit, and it doesn't give you that accomplished feeling. I love to win duels and 1v1, it just shows my skill at my class.

I hope they give us training features... Like GW had where you could do skirmishes from the GH. That was always really fun for 2v1 setups

Gosh sorry guys, I haven't checked forums at all >.> Been busy with exam week sigh, haven't actually got a chance to level my assasin after my last post =/.

Also, Shilene, have there been any ninja raids on cities yet? I'm kinda looking forward to having like a group of 50 assassins all of the sudden drop out of stealth and start attacking everything in sight in a major city. (then if possible vanish and utilize the ninja-art-of-run)

Cities, well, Asmodians have been ganking Elyos at the high zones for lvl 20+ quests, so far I've heard of rangers, sorcs, assasins, every type of class ganking :P So I guess if that counts! And as I posted somewhere before, a while back a lvl 20+ asmodian assasin TRIED to jump a mage at Beltaron or whatever it's called, but got owned by guards.

It's really hard for me to say for now because I'm still lvl 17 >.> But I don't know of any CC skills as of now. I just know assasin can do AOE dmg o_O with blade storm like skill.


I've been lvling a spiritmaster, yes yes, I know, No I'm not betraying the assasins for them :P it's just so frustrating to level an assasin at 17 because of a few reason.

Assasins get hit a lot at low level since you don't have enough dodge yet, which means you'll be sitting down or bandaging a lot. Therefore it's really not fun to quest and kill extra mobs outside of the bare minimum you need to finish a quest due to it. At low level atm, asssain also have NOTHING against a caster mob, except for rune explosion stun. Your physical evasion will not work against spells (obviously), so you'll die easily to mobs that doesn't melee you at all but cast. This is one of the weaknesses of assasin at low level. (By low, I mean up to 19).

I did hear that they will be adding new skills to assasins for low level though to help counter that issue, so it's something to look at in the next beta.

Yes, there will be a next beta and characters won't be wiped, now if Irisviel doesn't boot me off his account I should be able to start again and update this . You can still leave me msgs and I'll do my best to answer them as of now~ xD

Oh almost forgot, another thing about assasins is that I've dueled another assasin for laughs a few days ago. Okay, the truth is I misclicked on duel and I don't know how to cancel it :P. Anyways, he was the same level as me, similar gear, but I won cause of skill combo and how to use it. Obviously there are elements as to how much the draw rune procced in order to stun them, and how much their attacks missed you, but the key thing is how to manipulate your skills.

I did see a blue stone on Auction House (the ones you socket into your gears) that increases the proc rate of spells that has a proc on it. So that could be something to consider while gearing up.

And yes, I did fly someone asked me on page 3. You start flying at lvl 3. As of now I tried to use slash charge while I'm flying, doesn't seem to work. But it could be zone based only *whistle*

Yep, that was me ...but I heard that u can start flying only after lvl 10....well, thx 4 the info

There are two trap skills in the wiki assassin skill list:
1. Knockdown Signet (lvl 1) - plant traps that explode when walked over and knockdown the target.
2. Silence Signet (lvl 2) - plant traps that explode when walked over and silence the target.

Any info when you get the chance next time to see what kind damage these do would be helpful.

the presence of an AOE is comforting, i never expected to be main crowd control anyways, but having the ability to do a little AoE damage is always nice, thanks.
