Taking flight and pursuing flying target while cloaked. Was watching a sorc vs sin video and saw that the sorc took flight when the sin cloaked, seems the sin tried to fly but his cloak was broken and got nuked some feet off the floor. Would it be fair for the assassin to fly cloaked? Or did his cloak simply run out? Either way he was on the ground when he lost his cloak and got picked off bcuz he was out of range. Could be a problem imo.

I'm betting that you just aren't able to stealth while flying.

I just don't see that happening. It would be very cool to be able to do that, but I don't think it's really all that necessary.

I actually don't mind that at all..Although I could of sworn I saw a vid with a cloaked flying assassin...An asmodian vid. But maybe I was mistaken (Damn you low quality youtube!). But if this is indeed the case, I'm for it..It adds more strategy into the mix...From what we've seen, assassins are damn powerful if they are able to clock and get behind you without noticing...Seen some PVP vids where they literally took out mages without even letter them get an attack off with stun/suspend skills...So I'm for this....You won't be able to run in and just cloak infront of the guy, but actually requires some skill and camouflage to use cloak effectively...

I think that cloaking is mainly used to get behind your enemies. Though I feel that while flying, getting behind your target can be way much harder. You dont have to only worry about the distance, but also about the height.

Earlier we heard that you can be in stealth while flying. Perhaps just the act of starting to fly removes stealth, but it's fine if you stealth when you're already in the air.

I think Zinrae is indeed right, I know the video I saw had to be in flight stealth, he was see through after all =P.

i think i know the video you are talking about. Is it the asmo becoming daeva one? where he goes out and starts hitting something while flying, then cloaks and flies back to the ground?

either way, its kind of a bummer that you cant pull out your wings while in stealth, but then, pulling out your wings THEN stealthing is always an option :P

That's something I'm sure that I can work into some of my strategies in PvP. But, I'm curious, are you able to move at 100% speed while cloaked? It seems like that'd be a pain in the *** to deal with while flying. >.>

hm no, your speed is reduce by 40 or 50% something like that... (based on translation from skill list on gamemeca)

Alright, then I don't really see being able to stealth while flying as anything really big. Still can be helpful though.

I have seen some vids where an assasin IS flying while cloaked, look here:

(you can see it 2:33-2:50, and if u look closely at 2:48 u see that he has the wings on, and he is on "stealth mode" or w/e.....)



-OK, u can clearely see here taht YOU CAN go on "stealth mode" while flying

So I think we can stop questioning this, it can be clearely seen, especially in the 2nd vid, u can be on stealth mode while flying (or w/e)

We've got a skill named that? Seems like they take a lot of stuff from Wow, played a rogue for 3 years so I wouldn't want the same thing over (I'd end up bored pretty quick) . Hum, man I don't like where this is going,

Nah, it's not the same name. It's very similar to shadowstep tho.
