Why are you playing Assassin?

I used to be such a "carebear" in WoW when I played my rogue.
I hated being killed, so I didn't want to do the same things to others...until one day, I got camped and ganked like there's no tomorrow.
After that, I went on a rampage and killed everything I saw. Pumped me up for Aion and I'll make sure I'm the one standing on my feet when the battle ends.

But yeah, the possibilities are endless. I love it!

I've never thought of the portal thing though. That would be very awesome if they could do that.

Stealth and /stab is just about the most fun thing to do to people.

Guys don't think assassins will be powerful enough to always be killing people fast. Once others start getting to lvl15-20 i see our power diminishing a bit at higher levels against well geared opponents.

heh, but i play assassin for the dual wield light fighter deal. No BS hulking a shield around, no screwing around with heavy armor (barring the above statement ) just 100% ownage as fast as i can smash the buttons , not to mention you look sweet as hell...

Thats the point, we don't know enough about the stigmas to know if we can even use plate/chain mail and if we did i'm sure there would be heavy penalties associated with it.

no penalties, but useless bonuses. afaik p.def is not the only defensive stat which matters. Theres dodge and prolly other important bonuses like speed bonus, critical increase bonus etc. etc. and im sure that some of these bonuses won't be available for plate armor users.

but you can also transfer stats from one piece of armor to another, so technically you can transfer leather stats to a plate piece, then put on a stigma and you have a plate piece with the stats you need


so there might be some other penalty...

oh i doubt that O.o. transfer stats thing will prolly be possible on the same sort of armor (leather stats between leather pieces, robe stats between robe pieces etc). otherwise this would cause nonsenses like lets say tanks wearing robes or mages wearing plate. geeez that would suck
