Wow, the guy in OP's post got lucky with a drop, but really doesn't know how to socket his manastones at all. He should drop 100 crit for +ATK instead.

With his gear, he should be getting 300+ ATK easily while maintaining 440 crit.

I hate it when people like that get all the good drops. His manastone choices are downright retarded, 550 crit lol.

I wish I had better luck with yellow drops. I don't think my gear is too terrible by any means though (239 attack, 450 crit, level 41)

i like how everyone's assuming the guy is a noob for gemming straight crit after exceeding the soft cap. Id much rather have a higher chance critting all my chains than hitting a little harder. This guy's pushing 54% crit after his self buffs and 65%+ after scrolls and buffs.

Im not advocating that going full crit is the way to go nor am i saying that attk after soft cap is bad, but saying hes a noob because hes not jumping on the bandwagon blindlessly like 90% of the ppl out there is just ignorant. I give him props

He's only pushing around 48% crit with 526 crit, vs 44% with only 440. After 550 or so, the crit% chance increase per crit is decreased even more. It's not a linear increase in terms of crit vs crit % chance, which makes socketing crit stones after 440 not nearly as efficient as putting it to something else.

This is me atm - not such great gear, but I didn't see the point in hoarding AP at 30 when you get it so slowly then, or buying new armour every level. This way, I'll be able to get really good armour at 40-50 when it will matter much more.

This guy is correct :-) 540 Crit Rate =/= 54% crit.

Dumb luck + chain runs. Fast groups have to wait due to lockout but can run back to back all night. Still, two knives is dumb luck. Small chance of weapon, let alone the weapon being a dagger.

That is me, not so bad - need to get more luck with manastones, seriously. I have plenty of +12's but no luck what so ever.

Also realize I have 450~ crit (waiting on 45/6 to balance that out.) However I love godstone proc's *drool* Also the odd 3.4k Suprise Attack is nice.
