saving something for the future is a silly idea in my opinion.. if you have AP for golden gear.. go for it whenever you can, as the game does't start from lev50 it's has already started

That yellow abyss gear bonus is pure gold! I can't wait till I get my hands on the boots then gloves. Jewel pieces I'll pick from the farm quests.

Level 30 gold gear for the % bonuses -> level 50 gear is the route I'm going to take.

In k-aion, it's a common practice to get as many level 30 oranges (non-elite) you can while doing the grind to 50 thing. At 50, they get the level 40 non-elite set with the best PvE obtained weapon they can get their hands on. Only after this, they start the grind to the level 50 stuff.

The thing with the level 40 orange stuff is that they're the first 6 slot AP gear you can get that fits level 50 manastones.

As for elite vs non-elite. Elite tends to be a bad idea because you WILL get something that's almost as good (I've got some orange 5 slot leggings for instance) and will prompt you to not complete the whole set, which is only that good if you get the 5 piece bonus.

Saving for the level 50 stuff is a terrible idea. With the AP needed, you could get two or more pieces of lower level gear, and end up being more effective than someone who got a single level 50 piece. And if you get several level 30 or 40 pieces, you won't feel so compelled to grab the non-elite level 50 stuff to compete in PvP, which means you can save up to complete the elite set by then.

By the way, I'm going for the level 30 stuff as well. I don't plan on doing fortresses too much, so I will grab most of the level 30 set for the % bonuses, and then will plan from there.

im planning/have gotten lvl 30 abyss gloves, one earring, one ring. if you're an elyos, you can just do the golden lepharist quest and get a nice necklace/earring/ring, which should last you a bit. for leggings, you can stick with the molar boots.

Deck out in the blue 30 jewelry, hat, belt etc. Spend the ap as soon as you get it, the lower your rank the more ap you get from mobs and players who are higher.

Get the 30 gloves

Get mistmane boots

Level to 43 (41 for you spoiled elyos brats), pick up betoni's orange weapon.
Level to 45 and do draupnir's cave till your eyes bleed, pick up +as blue sword.

Proceed into abyss and roflstomp people/guards as fit.

After several fort raids, pick up lvl 40-50 orange armor as seen fit.

Do you guys think that it is worth to save all you ap till level 35 then get full level 35 marshalls set??? or keep saving till 40 ??

They usually tell to ignore lvl 40 gold stuff because is hard to get, mostly for the medals part.

About that sword, well if you dont have any other one with atk. speed when you hit level 40 then grab it, im using it and loving it, with that and gloves you are in perma Flurry and with the combo Flurry + sword + gloves really helps in pvp.

So if you are near level 40 and around 80k in ap's, save them for the sword imo.

It's not THAT hard. The Pauldrons, Gloves and Boots require 18 silver medals each. In my server, they go for 150k a piece, so 2.7 mil (which isn't much by level 40... heck level 33 crafted oranges cost 3mil+) and 106k AP for a piece of gear that will last you for many months.

=.= i had 79k and wasted on shoulds due to people in legion who play caion told me so...

Golden shoulders are fine, but atk. speed weapon is just in another league, you can blame your legion friends tho. :P
