Sell me on Ambush
I like the idea of the Ambush stigma however I think its just poorly implemented. When using ambush on a moving target, even if stun does happen to proc, I still find myself out of range to attack and have to waste a sec to get to the stunned target. If the stun doesnt proc im still just chasing the target down as if i would of used dash attack.
With that said I'm assuming the intial "out of range" after ambush is non intentional--- has anyone else noticed this on moving targets or is it just me? So in a nut shell I dont understand why ambush>dash attack + another stigma. Can somone explain to me why ambush would be better then dash+another stigma? |

ambush gets you behind your enemy so you can perform a backstab and they are working on fixing that melee issue... on the other hand spellcasters will also be able to hit you while you run out of range....

One thing that's annoying is that sometimes when you do ambush and then SA it works like if you did it from the front. I don't know if that happens in PvP but it happens to me all the time in PvE.

Sometimes (like once here after many many levels of using it) You will ambush, teleport to enemy, stun, and teleport right back to where you started lol.
Only happened once like i said, and on a cliff. __________________ ![]() |

A little tip to those that have trouble with getting to far away from your target when it is moving, is by simply standing still yourself when Ambushing. This helps quite abit, and I dont know why. It's not a foolproof technique, but it works fairly well.
Warp skills have always had trouble, and will always have trouble until we have a out of the world good network base on earth. |

sorry but this is not a good idea....you better start wich rune carves and THEN ambush once the enemy is moving / casting something...... ambush as an opener basically WASTES the stun element because people need half a second to a second anyway before realising wtf is going on plus if you rune carve first you have more control over the fight since you always have a STUN / AERIAL in your backhand forwhenever you need it and yes, AMBUSH is quite a MUST HAVE , no way around it, use it intelligently ( to stop casts ) and not mindlessly and it becomes even stronger |
