WHat stigma should i go for my third slot?

Ive got Sigil Strike and gonna have ambush when i hit 25.

Should i equip Flurry when i hit level 30 or something else?

Those are the exact 3 stigmas that I use. Some people might tell you to drop Sigil Strike for AT, but its pretty much personal preference.

I was thinking about it but since i dont plan on PvPing till around 40 id prefer the chance at 4 runes for PvE.

Any other tips anyone?

Aethertwisting is a safer bet (good in pvp vs casters and ace against mobs that have spells such as many bosses).

just mind aethertwisting got nerfed on the test servers (1 min CD instead of 30 sec).

flurry is a good choice aswell. quick rune carving in pvp and fast dps in pve =)

depends what you feel you need the most.

Personally i went with aethertwisting at 30 as i feel its defensable help was worth more than a 30 sec burst every 2 min. ^^

Whats the point of AT in PvE when 90% of the casted abilities are physical damage. I believe i said i dont plan on PvPing till 40.

Let me know how that goes when you're grinding out caster mobs (the ones we should be taking down the fastest) and you get slept -> nuked for half your health. Or when you're in a group trying to do elite/hero mobs with an AoE attack. Or when you get an add that opens with CC, stuns, or defense debuffs and FE is down.

AT is amazing for PvE. It's the reason I don't have to stop and rest nearly as much.

AT is amazing for PvE. It's the reason I don't have to stop and rest nearly as much.

As he said AT is just as valuable in PVE as it is in PVP, casters generally go down quicker have less health but pack a punch, these are the mobs you should be grinding on.

28- Ambush/Flurry
30- Ambush/Flurry/Aethertwisting

That's how I look at it. Once you have more slots open up later, that's when personal preference comes in.

The reason why I personally dropped Sigil Strike at 28 is that is when you get beast kick, which allows you to put 3 runes up on the target without wasting a stigma slot to do so.

Personally, I'd use Sigil Strike, Ambush, and Aethertwisting. Why? Well, unless you're just going to straight grind to 50, you'll probably engage in some PvP as you level or in your free time. As a result, AT will be much more useful to you than Flurry. Furthermore, AT is useful in PvE when fighting magical mobs. However, when you get Beast Kick, replace Sigil Strike with Flurry.

id rather have a chance at 4 runes isntead of icnrease speed every (3min?) but looks like ill go with AT.

And no i will not be engaging in much pvp if any at all.

i'd still go with AT personally, love'd it since i have it.
Even when you try to run away from pvp, its usefull.
Say when enemies come rifting, and a higher lvl sorc tries to sleep you while you try to run away.. it helped me so many times to escape and survive, aswell as against mobs that cast stuff (not many, but the things they cast usually are annoying and / or painfull).

Sigil strike.. well useless once you have beast kick, 3runes is enough for nearly anything.

Grinding is gonna suck a lot more when they nerf AT. I use it almost every fight.
