Surely this is the maximum number of people who can acheive the rank per faction per server?

That's what I think but lyankyj post this today. So idk but I think your right because if a server holds 5,000. Then the 1,000 of them will have the rank Lieutenant Colonel so 500 on each side can have the rank Lieutenant Colonel.

Minimum standing is based on the died/killed ratio. Only the best 1000 players /faction can be r10+ on a server.

It is not 1000+800+500+...+1 for r10+, but 1000 altogether.

No, it works like this:

#1 K:D ratio dude is Commander-in-Chief (if he has enough Abyss points to be), that leaves 999 other ranks.
#2 and 3 are Commanders, assuming they have the points to be (otherwise they're probably just keeping other players from being commanders, oooh that's bad better kill those asshats). Now you have 997 spots available.

It continues on like that. So here's the maximum of each ranking. This is the max, not what it will always be:

1 CnC (Takes rank 1)
2 Commanders (Take rank 2 and 3)
7 Warlords (Take rank 4 through 10)
21 Generals (Take rank 11 through 30)
69 Lt. Generals (Take rank 31 through 100)
199 M. Generals (Take rank 101 through 300)
199 B. General (Take rank 301 through 500)
299 Colonels (Take rank 501 through 800)
199 Lt. Colonels (Take rank 801 through 1000)

It's almost like a real goddamn army!

Must not forget, this only applies when all ranks had been achieved already, and the original chart itself shows the default settings.

Let's say there is no r15+ players yet, this would mean the number of r14 players can be 100, not 99.

Theoretically there can be 1000 r10 players if noone reached r11 before.

800-501=299

though the Totals of that Chart are still wrong it should be 1, 2, 7, 20, 70, 200, 200, 300, 200.

you cant just subract the Standings, f.e. 800-501=299 but from position 501 to 800 its actually 300 slots not 299...

If you look at the original chart, you can see that by default, there can be 200 r10, 300r11 and 200 r12.
