Missing some entries?

Sup people. Recently I can't login to msn messenger from the client and the website.

I tried pretty much everything that was suggested by this troubleshoot link:

My error is related in the "What can I do to correct 80048820?" tab(Left). I tried all that was suggested but at the last suggestion:

"Reregister the SSL security libraries"

About five of the entries cannot be found once I run them. Which brings me to another error code. Of course they tell me to "google it" but I can't find much related to my problem...

Anyone got any idea?

P.S It's not my router, firewall or anti-virus. I can logon just fine with my other computer that's protected in the same way.

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the client? I don't know too much about MS Messenger as I've used it a total of 3 times in 5 years.

Yes I did.

Also it doesn't let me logon secure websites. (As my bank account etc)

I think my registry optimizer broke my sys32 file .

1. I know it may sound weird but make sure your date and time is set correctly.

2. What OS are your running specifically? XP, XP x64, Vista, Vista x64?

3. If you are running Windows Vista you may not see the following files: initpki.dll, Gpkcsp.dll, Slbcsp.dll, Sccbase.dll

1. I did it.

2-Vista, also written in my link.

3- I know but some files that are included in Vista don't work either.

Do you run 64-bit or 32-bit Vista? I did notice your link but MSN likes to use generic links for different OSes at times.

The command you want to run after getting open the Administrated Command Prompt is: sfc /scannow

It says it hasn't found anything that violates anything.
