Ok - thanks for your help! For when I continue looking, is only having 2 GB of ram gonna be an issue? Or would I need to get 2 x 1 GB slots?

they most likely have 2x1gb, personally I would go for 2x2gb, because it will only cost you like $30-40 more, and will be a much more noticeable difference.

Yeah, go for more ram. will be a huge improvement. cant say much about the graphic card.

My personal minimums: 2GB+ if you're gonna stick with XP, 4GB+ if you're going with Vista(64bit). With as cheap as ram is these days, it's not a huge issue.

You PM me asking for a prebuilt pc recommendation for under $900, I spend time looking for one for you - since I'm not american and don't know where good places to buy are and I'm not a fan of prebuilt anyway.. But I do it... And you make a thread asking people to compare 2 completely different PC's....

AMD's are good for the buck, but PLEASE don't waste your monies on an 8500. That is not a gaming card.

The 8600 and better yet the 8800 are sufficient.

AMD 5200+ or higher OR any Core2 (not the 800FSB ones) would work.... or should work great for AION.

As i can see there are a lot of people that know from pcs,i want to ask something.A pentium 4 3,2 witn 2 giga ram and ati 2600pro 512ram can play aion with mid graf options?or i must buy new pc to play aion

You will more than likely be able to play with mostly low, if not all, settings with that. But to play Aion you could get a resonably priced new comp 500-700 US and be fine.
