Minus having to buy an operating system, building a rig that can run Aion respectably should cost $700 at the most, I built one for a friend that cost $550 (once again minus OS) that more then meets those requirements.

Sorry but no, the closest thing you guys have to Newegg in the uk is Overclockers UK, at least as far as I know. But if all else fails you can easily by converters online so that you can use US plugs in UK sockets... as dirty as that sounds.

lols Yes it will work, most PSU's have selectors for 110v or 220v, you will just need a different chord that goes from your PSU to outlet...If you cant find a PSU like that, then maybe you can buy everything but the PSU, and get a PSU from a local store...but All the PSU's I've had in the last 5 years had selectors for 110v (US) or 220v (UK).

Ok.
PSU = Power Supply Unit, the thing you plug into the electrical outlet in the wall so you can turn your computer on. If you look at your case, it will be in the back and top, and will have a power switch on it. Most of these PSU's you buy, come with a selector switch to choose between 110volts and 220volts. In North America, power outlets (the holes in your walls in your house) are 110v, in the UK they are 220volts. So you will need a PSU that lets you choose between the 2 (most do, with a little switch)...but you will still need to get a 2 dollar power chord that lets you plug into the wall in your house, because the power outlets in the US are different....You cant just get the chord and plug it in to a normal PSU on 110v, or it will blow up because you are giving it 220v. Can't simplify it anymore.

Even more simple without technical information :
Buy the computer at newegg without the power supply and buy the power supply in any computer store near you! Make sure to check if you'll pay customs tax or you might get a little surprise with your computer. If i were you, i would just order from the website that nordic ninja pointed you, since you said money wasn't really a problem(didn't check if there was a big price difference between both) If you need help building a computer with those website, they normally offer some kind of live help which is very useful Good luck! ![]()

Overclockers - never had a problem ordering with them, never had a problem with returns, prices are about the cheapest you'll find in UK.
Newegg stuff would be coming from America, heck of a long trip and shits bound to get broken - then you'll have to RMA the stuff right back to them, costing a small fortune, and waiting weeks instead of days. Sure it might be cheaper to buy all the parts there and ship them, but the costs could very easily end up being more ![]()

Hmm i call Shinanigans on wiki (or whoever put it up there) on this. Seeing as it is a Geforce 6600 i am asuming these are min requirments. An AMD X@ 5600 is NOT on par with a P4 3.0. The AMD X2 3000 Semphron series is on par with P4 and the 5600 is a good cpu. RABBLE i say. I would say if you can run Oblivion than that would be a good benchmark for AION Recommended Oblivion: 3 Ghz Intel Pentium 4 or AMD X2 3200+ 1 GB System RAM ATI X800 series, Nvidia GeForce 6800 series, or higher video card Minimum System Requirements: Windows XP 512MB System RAM 2 Ghz Intel Pentium 4 or AMD 2800+ Semphron 128MB Direct3D compatible video card and DirectX 9.0 compatible driver; 8x DVD-ROM drive 4.6 GB free hard disk space DirectX 9.0c (included) DirectX 8.1 compatible sound card Keyboard, Mouse ![]()
