yap the 4870x2 will be the best card you can put in there, however you may need to upgrade your Power Supply. YOu only have one PCI X16 so you will not be able to run Xfire or SLi.

Are u sure a card made for PCIE 2.0 X16 fits into PCIE X16??

Ariel - PLEASE make your mind up what you're doing about your computer.. there's a bunch of threads all asking for completely different things, and some the exact same, and some contradicting... Now I know it's nice to do lots of research but I'm feeling it's ever more pointless replying as tomorrow a another thread will be made.. And the answer is likely in a previous thread.

Well,maybe if your not in a hurry for a video card and you are just waiting for Aion,you might wait till then maybe some new or better cards come out or even buy a cheaper 4870x2.

Thats what i am doing but i have a 200~ budget for a video card.

IF you don't overclock your Q6600 to at least 3,6 Ghz you are wasting allot of money. Your CPU will slow down your GPU. Instead of a 800W PSU you should get a high efficiency one, with with more then 82%, like this.

Besides i cant OC my CPU....i dont have windows disk.

But isnt it 4 cores runnign @ 2.4 each??? ( like 9.2 GHZ?? O.o ) IDK point is i cant OC

You don't add (correct me here because i don't know the mathematical term in English) multiple processors. It's to technical to explain it here, just believe me, if you really want to buy a 4870X2 you need to make sure your GPU don't slows down because of the CPU.
