Hello,

I posted b4 my 1st build for a comp and i know it failed bad lol. But after hours of reading the forums and looking on NewEgg i came up with a better build. Tell me what you think.

Well the first mobo is a micro-ATX, which will of course work, but there's no real reason to go with a micro in an Antec 900. The second one should be fine.

GL with the power supply. Hopefully you get one that lasts till xmas -_-

lol im getting them one now cuz its 29.99 after the rebate. so it saves me some cash on parts lol.

It runs hotter, slower and uses more Watt then a E8400 for example.

E8400 averages about 170, while the AMD 6000 averages about 100bucks....

8400 average FPS from toms is 135
AMD 6000 average FPS from toms is 110

AMD still makes great CPUs, one thing to look at, however, is the new Brisbane 65nm 5800 (still 3 gigs like the 6000). It is 90 bucks, runs cooler, and at 89watts instead of 135wats.

Intel is better, but i am always an AMD fan. (i have amd wife has Core2)

Get yourself a nice Antec PSU, good reliable and fairly cheap. I have an antec 500 that has been running my P4 home server steady for the past 3 years.
