psu meeting needs
will a pair of these have enough cables, yes i need modular cables, i believe for modular 80+ certified 2 of these would be cheaper than 1 big 1200W system.
case Newegg.com - SILVERSTONE SST-TJ07-B Black 4.0mm ~ 8.0mm uni-body aluminum outer frame, 2.0mm aluminum body ATX Full Tower Computer Case - Computer Cases LOTS OF FANS! psu Newegg.com - COOLMAX CU-600B 600W ATX 12V V2.2/EPS 12V V2.91 Power Supply 115/ 230 V CB, CE, FCC, TUV, cUL - Power Supplies i would be having a 4870 X2 and a nahalem bloomfield on a x58 board, which may bring up another question, you would usually have amd+ati and intel+nvidia, but would the x2 bond with the bloomfield. let me just put it out there HOWLING?! HOWLING?!

I read some of the 4870 X2 Benchmarks and it seems 600W wont (around 535W on the test system) be enough, especially since we don't really know the power need of the Bloomfield.

its recomended amd and ati, then intel and nvidia, i dont want to cross the line, but both products are awesome and new, and beat out previous prices. the extreme i7 bloomfield is $999 old extreme quad was almost $1500, x2 beats 280s and perform better. ps i have read that they overclocked the new bloomfield to almost 5ghz without changing the new "stock fan" and no heat issues, and guess what im going to have my first overclocking on these two.

Well i actually never read of any compatibly issues with ATI+Intel. Especially if you look at the Benchmark Computers that performed the 4870X2 test, i read around 4 and they all run on a Intel CPU.

That case looks freaking badass...As for Coolmax I definitely do not recommend them, the last PSU I bought was a coolmax, it hardly gave enough power to an amd 3800 + geforce 7600. It was never stable, and they have a reputation for burning out around a year.
Mine was a 550W I picked up a little over a year ago for like $60. For a similar PSU, I recommend Apevia, not sure which one you are looking for, but they are reasonably priced to the Coolmax http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...power%20supply

Yeah i considered everyone but need modular cable support and the specifications to those i had previously listed said they were 80+ efficent. the apevia are not modular. having a slot behind your motherboard tray for cables and modular cables which allow you to have only as many cables you want, can cut down almost 5-10 degrees than a mess of cables.
yeah, i picked this case to go forward with because it has space for 2 psu's both on bottom which also helps with efficency and it has so many slots, well ventilated, the 6 hard drive slots sit between 2 fans almost silent. even though im only going to have a 1 terabyte harddrive and 1 dvd/cd burner having 7 drive bays and 7 expansion slots

$999 is too much to spend on new technology. hold out a few months after release and pay 200 bucks lol. Intel's Nahlam will have huge price cuts when the AMD Shanghai launches.
