Aion benchmarks

Well Aion's been in beta for months now. Anybody know of some Korean benchmarks, or atleast common FPS on max settings with certain video cards?

What can we expect?

We can expect uber lag and denial from Korea as they get it 6-12 months before us O.o

Not to mention the koreans will undoubtably be allowed to play on our servers, with 6-12months more ingame experience than us. And will band together in 1 guild farming all the bosses and pk'ing other people - inevitably stopping them from getting equipment while the koreans just get stronger - annoying people enough so they quit and Aion dies due to them.

Seen it happen on many mmos, I hope NC don't allow it.

i remember the information, that there will be 3 places hosting the realms. one in asia, one in europe und one in na. in every region you can buy a version you can connect to the right hosting place. the only chance to get on a us server will be buy a us version, that will only be sold in us. there were a long discussion, that so guilds with members in eu and na, must splitt, because they can´t play together.

Source? I've been ignoring the total bullcrap that is known as General Discussion for the last 3 months or so, so I tend to miss alot of the new announcements ;P

Thats good and all but wat about australian players... no offense but why are NC soft ****ing us of..... The way there going there gonna have alot of australians logging onto the USA server and lagging it to **** cause the min ping we could possibly get from a server in the US is 181 but thats only If you connected straight to a many server other wise your suck at around 200 to 300 ping which is totaly gay

The servers not gonna be affected because people with 200-300ms pings are connected...only those ppl are. I doubt Aus has enough players to run a whole server, but maybe an oceanic one.

200-300ms seems a bit high too, but I know the ISP's in Aus kinda suck/have bad restrictions...whats your ping to a L2 server, I imagine Aion's would be similar in quality.




Another reason I'm curious is because different cards work better on different games. For example a GTX280 might get 100fps in one game while the 4870 gets 80, in another game the GTX280 might get 80 while the 4870 gets 85...etc

I want to optimize for Aion...I'm also considering SLI'd 8800GT(S)'s, I think they are an extremely underrated setup with all the new cards out now. In 90% of games they benchmark faster than any single card except the 4870x2...and you can get the 2 of them for cheaper than a 4870.


Maybe some beta testers can say what kind of FPS they are getting on their rigs?
