Will it void the warranty?

I only have about 10" to upgrade to a new card ( and most are 10 1/2+ )
So i was wondering....
If i change the case from default HP one to a new one will it void the warranty???
I think its going to end in a few months anyways.
Or is there anything I can do to avoid getting a new case??? ( I tried moving my HDD, no luck )
And any recommendations for full tower case, lots of airflow

yes the warranty will becouse invalid from hp if u remove the seal on the case, or in a dell's case move the mobo.

i'm useing a nzxt hush case that got alot of room and airflow.

I am using a thermaltake armor case, ultra big, ultra heavy, ultra durable, comes with 6 120mm fans, stays cool.

my 8800 GTX fits in there fine

also it has 14 drive bays

Yes most computer manufactors seal there cases so that you must send it to them.

I'm guessing on two reasons for this.

1. So no one without experice would break the computer.
2. More money, no updates instead they get to sell a new computer.

I voided warranty months ago.... ( opened to check room for upgrade, lol )

Antec 900 is a good case. Pretty standard good air-flow case... but I have also heard this Newegg.com - SIGMA PHANTOM PHANTOM-WB Black 1.0mm SECC Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case - Computer Cases case is awesome. Sides fold down, easy to change stuff. Lots of room, lots of fans.

antec 1200 and 900 are good cases. you said you were looking for a full tower. the 1200 is a full tower. the 900 is a mid tower either one should offer you enough flexabliity to fit a longer card. Especially after moving up from a standard HP case. The reason i reccomend these is i know people that own the 1200 and have used them for very high end builds with multiple watercooling loops and have been very satisfied working with the case.

here's a link to a comparison of the 900 and 1200, They aren't cheap cases but they aren't exceptionally expensive like a lian li.
