Game was very playable last night up until I went to sleep before the server shut down at 1am,
Noticed a game anomaly when I would get 2000 DP my graphics kind of fubared with some artifacting, after a reboot it was fine. Not sure if it's related to my graphics card. But it seemed to h appen around there, at least that's when I noticed it. I had been playing for hours though. Graphics card is a GeForce 285 made by BFG Tech. __________________

I just have a few suggestions:
1.) More quests. Im all for grinding but, after i hit level 10 and went over to the next city, Quests were so spread out and seemed like I did way too much running around just to speak with a NPC. So yea, More quests. More Quest hubs and quest NPC or even more quests from loot 2.)Tagging Mobs and looting needs to be changed. for instance, I was killing a mob ( i tagged it first ) and some mage came up hit it 2 times, and got to loot it. So wrong. And this has happened many times. 3.)Takes way too long to log into Aion, first the launcher, then the Updater, then the Gameguard, then a black screen, then a Aion picture screen , the whole process is just way too long. Most game, You click on your desktop Icon, log into your server, select toon, and done. 4.)More quest rewards. Such as Armor, Weapons, rings, ect. Other then those things, My gaming experience this beta has been wonderful. I would very much love to see some of the suggestions on this forum go through. Especially more quests. I love questing. can't wait until launch ![]() |

Im gonna have to beg to differ with you on three Yes i wish it took less time. But look at it compared to WoW How many loading screens do you go through with wow compared to this? This has almost no loading screens and when it does they are quick like 1-3 seconds Wow theirs took much longer and had many more Maybe it would please us if they had some sort of image instead of that black. And maybe along with the more quests option, more quest areas! I want to explore the world of aion not be stuck doing the same thing with every new character gimme some more land to quest at Maybe i dont always wanna kill slave laboring hamsters! well ... actually... |

I was wondering if there was a more specific sticky somewhere for open beta bug reporting?
(I guess this one works fine if the dates are noted though) Anyway, I just wanted to leave a few comments / reports etc. I can edit this as I come across new things / remember them. Quests - despite many of the comments I think quests are paced very well, at least up until 30 (after that obviously I have no idea). There were a few levels where I feel I needed to grind to get to the next one, but the important thing to note was that they were there because I skipped some of the group quests (tip - don't do this with the Campaign Quests btw - aside from the extra XP, it will annoy you greatly later if you don't finish them). If I had actually taken the time to be more thorough the grind would be much less noticeable - and I think that's true for many people. Gathering - I think this pace is fine as well. People have complained about it, but it's honestly not hard to keep up with. It does take the awareness of what is where - something many people might be lacking after a short play time. The experience of how to do it efficiently isn't there yet for the most part, and this is what has been making it irritating. I think most people will agree that the pace/ difficultly of leveling gathering is fine once they have more experience with it. Actual Bugs: Know Your Enemy (Altgart lv 17) The Mau transformation wears off before player leaves the elite zone regardless of the timer. Since the bridge is a choke point, this makes what should be a soloable part of the campaign quest difficult if you don't know what's coming. Maybe it is not a bug, but it seems to me that the transformation should last the duration of the timer. "End Dialogue" is the option to close chat with several Asmodian NPCs in Reshanta (also, perhaps intended, but it looks like the standard Asmodian response just wasn't updated). Morheim Fortress Coin Quest: Quick Witted Daru were renamed to Savvy Daru, but they are still called Quick Witted Daru in the Quest tracker. There are a few other quests where the mob names don't match the actual in game names, but I don't remember them off hand. Patamor Coin Quest: I stopped getting credit for killing Sprigg Hunters and had to abandon it. I don't know if the error repeats because I didn't bother picking it up again. Reshanta: Our training instance group received a 17 hour lock after a wipe. Are players supposed to have only one shot at clearly this? I'm all for hard, but that seems a bit severe - I'm sure many people will outlevel the instance before they complete it if they can only try it once per day. Ranger Sleep Arrow I will NOT fire unless autoattack is active. In PvE this just means players can't sleep pull - they need to start shooting first which is doable although not preferred. In PvP this got me killed because the few seconds I spent wondering why my character was doing nothing even though I was spamming the button and the spell was not on cooldown were too long. I don't really see a reason why this should not fire like regular attack - if I push the button the spell should be used, whether I'm already in combat or not.
