Keybind modifiers disable mouse looking!

If you use: ctrl/shift/alt you will be unable to use mouse looking/turning, for those that use ventrillo this is detrimental if they like to use mouse turning, pvp'ers who like the style of mouse turning + keybinding will be limited to not be able to use keybind modifiers which make things easier and less exertive upon the dexterity of our hands.

If you have played WoW, WARonline, AoC and general games that support a lot of pvp mobility (pc fps's come to mind as well) you will find this to be quite crippiling, it is a very bog standard western thing in MMOs, keybind modifiers should not be effecting mouse turning.

Using the aformentioned modifiers (ctrl/shift/alt) the camera will be locked down and you will be unable to move your camera with mouse looking and run at the same time, you will just continue to run in a straight direction after you press one of the modifiers. On top of this your cursor will disappear and you will have to re-click the right mouse button for it to re-appear.

So this even irritates vent users who are keyboard turning clickers.

This problem effects everyone and is imo one of the biggest issues, trumping voice overs and translating quest text because if the core game mechanics don't function well enough the icing on the rest of the cake is all for naught.

It's been brought up quite a bit in various threads both here and at the beta forums. That may account for the lack of discussion.

I use ALT for ventrilo bind key and it sucks so bad. I pretty much: cant talk while pvping, or have to stop running to talk in dangerous places.

i see the issue for sure, i encounter this even when i'm not using vent.

on a side note, i use a fancy button on the way right side of my mouse (to open vent), i hate to use a much needed left hand finger to talk in vent.

even keybinding the scroll button click is heplful if you don't have a mouse with around 12 buttons.

Somebody is talking ****.
Its only shift that makes you run in a direction and gives freelook while keeping the direction.

I don't know what's stuck up your ***. But when you hold alt you cant turn the camera. Thus I cant move and talk at the same time.

Well i used alt for ventrilo and i never noticed a fixed camera, shift however i do notice it but you really shouldn't be holding shift down anyways. It's more of a quick press with "shift + w/e."
