Just a quick login question

Ive preordered my copy and gotten the email inviting me to the beta. When i try and log in to the game it says "We are sorry but this account does not currently have access to Aion". I know the beta servers arent up and wont be up until the next testing weekend, but i was just wondering if the message is because the servers are down or because my beta isnt registered properly

it's because the servers are down. don't mind the ambiguous language ^^

Actually it's the "currently" that is the clue, hinting that right now you don't have access, but at some point you will.

But yes it's the message everyone gets right now.

I'm actually getting:

ID and password does not match.

Is that a bad thing? I already tried resetting my password. Nothing happening yet though.

(this is for european beta testing)

I found out I had to change my region settings. For some reason after I changed these settings it keeps popping out of the game upon startup. I see the NCsoft logo and then my mouse but after that it pops back to windows with an error message. (changing back to other region doesnt change anything)

Anybody else getting this?

Hmm can you describe the error message? Or better yet take a screenshot of it.

And this only happened since you changed the region settings? Might be worth doing a quick repair on the game (r-click on the installed game -> repair).

Thanks for the headsup on the file repair. That solved my problem.

I get the same comforting error message everybody gets now

your message is the correct one.

When it says invalid account/ password you have to change your settings to an different region.

along with pray that the game loads into properly and no other lovely errors that you cant work on fixing until they occur during actual gameplay,

in mean time i will continue to troll boards and learn the small things to speed my beta gameplay vs. askn for help once its up and running haha
