Getting "Cannot connect to authorization server" come up as soon as I click my username and password ;/ Also Collectors Edition account.

Worked perfectly last BETA weekend, tried on two different PCs. I wouldn't mind if it hang for a while I would think the server was loaded but instantly getting cannot connect and closing game down every time is annoying

Should I be worried that I cannot access the BETA forums too? I try to register and it says "invalid game account login" @_@ but I can login to NCsoft website and see my Aion account which says preorder.....

Words can't express how ****ed and frustrated this beta has made me. So I go to fileplanet a few days ago I sign up for a month to get my beta key. I was all set and up to date I log in today and the server select was as far as I got. After trying to wait it out and reconnect for 90min. A friend suggested maybe they were in and playing because they had the pre-order beta key. As mine was just a fileplanet free beta thing. So I said screw it and went to ebgames 40 miles away. I got my pre-order and my pre-order beta key. I go to my ncsoft acct and put it in. so I have a beta key and a pre-order beta key on my nc account. And guess what the same crap, stuck at server screen. So I uninstalled the whole game and now have about a day till it's done through the nc launcher I have 10mb internet speed. Sorry to ramble but I'de like to strangle someone atm so I thought I'de post and let the ncsoft rep read this. If this is what I can expect from AION I'll just wait for the old republic to come out and play console games.

I am basicly in the same boat, The aussie pre order keys still no in so i went online to buy them for me and my friends at gamersloot.

After forking out more cash for something that should have been free with my pre order i still can not login, says my account does not have access to aion at the moment.

You really need to calm down, honestly..This is a beta, what did you expect?
Yes, it is frustrating, but come on, it's not the end of the world. I don't get what you turn it into such a big deal,
alright, you wanna try it out, but..seriously? As far as I know we dont get to keep our characters in retail anyway,
and there will be more beta's coming. And if you " Just wait for old republic to come out" why do you even bother all that?
This is not the first game to get these kinda problems, but apparntly, as you can read you're not the only one with this problem, so what's the point acting as if you're the only person in the world having this problem?

Well my thing is I have 5 friends in ventrilo telling me how much fun they are having when I can't even log in. This is the 1st closed beta I have ever had acess too. And I've been playing mmo's for 9 years since everquest and have tried getting into most beta's. I also payed for a month of fileplanet then for the game itself to get 2 different beta keys. So let's just say I'm really, really frustrated atm. No it's not the end of the world but it sure has wrecked my day. Maybe by tomorrow when the slow *** launcher is done installing my game I'll be able to log in.

I just got a message back from NCSoft Support saying I can log in now, and I can they must have fixed it! I have no words to express how happy I am, so I'll use an emotion!

Greetings-

When I try to log in to Aion I immediately get a message that says "cannot connect to authorization server" A friend of mine is able to log in as me and gets through so this is likely a computer issue. My question is where should I start the troubleshooting on this one?

I have tried:
Disabling the junky windows firewall
re-installing Aion
Rebuilding gameguard
running in xp compatability mode
running as an administrator
making sure that uac is turned off (Windows 7)

Any help would be great!

Now i make it past login, but it seems my time logged in is on a 8 seconds timer lol, just not quite long enough to reate a charecter.
