Can't log in.

To answer the OP topic:

If you are having authentication issues to the beta forums:

1. Login with your GAME account username and the most recent password. Do not use your forum name.
2. The username and password are case sensitive

If you are having issues logging into the game itself:

1. Make sure your Aion Account is active in your NCsoft account center. If you had pre-ordered, used a key, then cancelled the pre-order, some of those keys become invalid.
2. Login with your game account login (the one you use to access your account)
3. Use the ORIGINAL password if you have changed your password, try the original password you entered when activating your Aion account.

If you are having issues with loading the game, lag, or anything beyond logging in, please locate those threads.

Uhh you won't get in at this stage in the testing without a beta or preorder key. Beta keys have already all been given out before this round and you'll have to preorder the full game to get a preorder key.

If you don't want to do that, wait for mid to late august, when there will be an open beta.

I have 2 Euro keys... Had both since the 1st beta... 1 wont let me log in and says I don't have access. Other one logs in fine... Is this cause of authenticating or cause one of my keys expired...???

Question:

A friend of mine managed to get a US beta account opened, and asking if I want to join and have a look.

So the situation is, I live in UK using a US client trying to connect to the US beta server with a valid US beta account (my friend in US can log on using the usrn and pw).

I get a message saying 'Incorrect ID and Password (something similar)' everytime I key in the usrn and pw. Is this normal? Or NCSoft blocks foreign IPs??

Where did you get the keys from? Some of the keys given out prior to CBT1 (that is, the MMORPG ones) were only meant to be for that one weekend, however they were extended to the 2nd beta weekend. Now however they have been disabled. If one of your keys was from MMORPG, that will be the one that no longer works.

There are no IP-blocks on the servers themselves at this stage in the process, only on the account creation. If you're getting the ID/pass invalid error, then check that you have your NCsoft launcher set to North American region (File -> Settings -> Advanced). If for some reason yours is set to Europe then it is trying to log you into the EU servers and you'll have to change it to NA. Currently it's the launcher region that determines which login servers you connect to, not the client or your account details.

Well the server told me it was restarting earlier today. I haven't been able to log on since then. "We're sorry but this account does not have access to Aion."

I've got 2 characters? I've got my pre-order serial. The website logs that my account has a pre-order serial registered. What gives?

Is the server just down?

Oh! And I'm in the US. So that's not the issue.

I try to log me in and the game say me " we are sorry but this account does not currently have acces to Aion "

The Beta was closed July 6th 2009 at 3pm EST. The next Beta will begin on July 17th and will go to July 20th. Just because you pre-ordered, just like many of us have, doesn't mean we can play 24/7. Only when the servers are open for Beta Testing.
