In the meantime, I am still trying to log on. It seems like most of EU.

Problems:
No UI feedback when attempting to log in.
No UI feedback on what is going on.
No UI access to the quit button while the game is attempting to log on.
No visible queue system: could be a great idea?
Client closes on failure to connect: is this a way to delay people and stop them from hammering the auth server?

I am from Poland, but living in Minnesota, with a US beta code, playing with a US IP Address, and still unable to log in.

Now it says "Can not connect to the authorisation server" or something like that xD But I don't have to wait anylonger for 5min to get disconnected

my original plan was
8.00 pm open Aion
8.05 pm play Aion
some days later sleep

now it is
8.00 pm open Aion
8.50 pm accept that will wont be able to play tonight oh well will get some sleep then lamo

not too bothered as this is what beta is for and i'd rather them get the problems right now than on the release

True, I will be posting on official forums my obversations. This is beta, little things that are not 100% ready are expected.

this was an excellent exercise guys. NCsoft will be able to better handle this situation happening again on live and I am sure the authentication will see great improvements.
