Serious Lag - NA

Not much of a bug, but I logged into CB3, and the game looks great, and everything was running smoothly, but I had serious lag. I would run far to one spot, and then the next thing I know, I lag right back to where I started. It's pretty much the same thing with battles; I start fighting, everything stops, and then suddenly I'm dead, because my skills took too long. ):

I figured it was because so many people jumped on the game, and (there being only 2 servers) made the game go slow.
I'm not sure though. Anyone else experiencing this?

I'm getting exact thing. It's like 10 steps forward, 6 steps back. *Repeats every 5 seconds* It's horrible, I have a really decent system, but I can't get past this even with all graphics at bare minimum

If you mean servers, there's only two NA servers to choose from, and they're both just as laggy.

Not sure what "change channels" means but it's not a server issue, I'm online right now in Aus and no lag at all aside from the normal Oceanic pings.

Go to menu/F10 and go to Channel or something like that.

So far I've tried 6 or 7 dif channels and I'm still getting same lag

I get in, no lag, game looks amazing and then after 1-3 minutes the game crashes to desktop every time. I haven't even had a chance to log out the right way.

I have a great comp too, dont get any problems with other games and beta titles.. grrr

i had the same problem. if you're using an AMD dual core processor, try downloading the AMD Dual Core Optimizer.

available from amd site: Technical Download Details

if this works, then what was essentially happening is your computer was doing everything far too fast. you should notice your character walks a bit slower after its fixed.

I'm having the same issue.

Kinda sucks, very little lag on Chinese servers but huge lag on NA servers

Yeah, could be due to how many people are in the game but shouldn't be this bad.
