some? quest grouping = not counting for everyone. (only one who iniates)

I tried grouping with a few ppl to finish this one quest to one shot it, bcuz there was like a 10 ppl line up everytime....to our surprise, grouping didnt count in completing the quest..only counted for person who activated it (+we all grouped b4 it was activated..anyone noticed it if it's just some quests and not all?
(how about mission ones?)

Can you be alittle more complete with you question as in what quest are we talking about and how many people are we talking about.

You can have 6 people in a group once you go above that its not a Group anymore its a Force when in a force quest will not update.

If its a pick-up certain item from this mob quest then if your doing the same quest with a group of six and it tells you that you need 0/10 Tog ribs then that means you have to kills mobs until each of you have picked up 10 for a total of 60 ribs.

Quests on your Campaign tab or specifically marked as Group are the only quests which will complete based on group kills or looting. For drop-based quests, everyone needs to loot the mobs, as the items are not automatically distributed. So, to answer your question, you need to complete Work Order or non-campaign quests individually (you can do them as a group, but will need to work towards completing everyone's totals, ie keep killing Brax until everyone has the number of skins required to complete the quest)

k. im more talking about the non pick up type qs. where you just need to talk to someone...can those be grouped?
ie. groken which has a spawn time + escort part.

are there others like that? having it not count for groups start line-ups...lol
